I have my rent raised every 9 months. On 9/30 my rent was raised to 123.00 now on 7/16 it is raised to $191.85 . Almost $70 in less than a year. This is not acceptable

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Place is a racket. After two months they doubled my rent out of no where. I called and they said they are allowed to reprice it for "market value". This place should be shut down for extortion and price baiting.

The facilities are clean and well-maintained, but that's where the good things end. Without notice, they will raise their rates on you every 4-6 months. I believe CA law requires 30-day notice of rate increases, but I could be wrong. Our rate was increased 91% the first time, then 76% six months later. We'll be packing up our unit this weekend and taking our business elsewhere. I strongly suggest that anyone looking for self-storage think twice before choosing Extra Space.

I would definitely not recommend Extra Space Storage. Just received a letter from them, only been in there 2 months. Raised my rent space from $136.00 a month to $ 215.00 for a small unit! I am so upset! They are taking advantage of people. Cheaper if u sell all your things. Times are tough right now! How can they do that to people? I bet they have their employees and Managers write the reviews. Pulling my things out! Go somewhere else, there are others storage places that are much less!

Customer service is not great! The lady at the front desk was not helpful and very rude. The facility is nice though Just as long as you don't need any customer service this is a good place.

They are really nice when you come in (and ask for you to write reviews, that's why they have so many), but after you're in, good luck! I had fraud on my debit card and had to get a new one, and I've been trying to update my billing info. Their website never lets me log in, when I try to reset my password it gives me an error (I have screenshots), they never answer their phone, if you e-mail them it comes back too (also have screenshot). it was a "total" lie. no" one month for "free" for "new" customers. after wasting '' gas " on my car-- driving" down to extra space storage" location, to get the "special" that they have "on - line" -- and " had to wait "30 min."" extra for the "second" employee lunch to end".-- "plus" found "two" different cars with "people" sleeping in their cars in the side" front parking lot".
