Fantastic customer service from the employees from the moment I called to enquire to the time I walked away with the keys. The first impression from the manager call back time for checking units was impressive; the national call center said they would call back within the hour and I received a call no later than 10minutes and checked the storage units out in person. They were able to get me into an outer unit in no time.

The team is so great and super friendly. They answered all of our questions very thoroughly. The hours are the best in town - they are open until 10pm on weeknights! The rates are one of the lowest in Thousand Oaks/Westlake area.

I want to give a five star star rating to Extra Storage Space & special thanks to Amanda the general manager at this location. Our situation was very unique, Amanda had opened up the facility especially for us and she truly went above and beyond especially they weren't open to the public yet. This is a brand new facility that's clean, efficient, secure. Amanda and her staff are very professional and accommodating to their clients. I would recommend Extra Space to my family and friends for all of their storage needs.

Had a great first visit with Extra Space in Newbury Park, who referred me over to Thousand Oaks site. Thousand Oaks facility is a very new site and has exceptional people wanting to assure you a secure and safe environment for your personal belongings. I am glad they were available. I can actually do everything there with little physical stress. WHY????? Because that is how very new this place is. YEAH!!!!

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, they raised my rent by $100 without warning and this is the second time I will never set foot in this company again, I do not recommend it.

I usually don't write reviews, but Extra Space Storage is out of line. I got a letter last night from them saying they are raising my rent for my storage unit. Which I understand it happens. But the are raising my rent by $100. I've only been there for 3 months. They say it's because of inflation. This is a insane amount of increase. It's 1/3 of my rent already. I looked on my app and I don't see my lease agreement. I think it's TOTALLY unfair. I understand increase but 1/3 of my rent after 3 months is insane! Bad Business

I gave this place a 5 star review which has turned into a 2 star review . They increased my monthly rate $85.00 with zero warning. I was just told they can do that whenever they feel like it because I'm month to month. I will be moving out this week. What an absolute rip off! Never again. Beware.
