There used to be a wonderful manager here. Since he left the elevator and the front security gate have been broken for over a month. Management thinks it's fine for paying customers to spend an extra 15 minutes wheeling a heavy cart through the narrow dark hallways from one end of the building to the other. They don't see any urgency to fix it or do too much else to take care of this facility.

BEWARE! I started with extra space 3 months ago signed a contract and all the sudden out of nowhere I get a notice that my monthly charge will be increased $20 a month. Unacceptable!!!! Losing a customer and going somewhere else. Not cool. Beware when signing up!

Be very very careful of this place. They get you signed up for a low price but in a month or so they raise your rent. I first started at about $130 a month but some how now it's $189. And if you are late on your payment then you get slapped with late charges. And when you want to end the contract you have to time it right or you have to continue paying the rest of the month. It's the biggest racket.

Extra Space Storage provides a five day grace period before charging a late fee on the 6th day past a payment due date. Very good people and service. Just two issues for me: 1. This facility is a bit outdated so a lot of the entry doors are old fashioned narrow doors. In my case I had to rent a larger space than i really wanted to accomodate a 42" firepit I needed to store for a month or two. I was told that they are converting all the unites to wider garage type pull down doors. 2. Their "no refund" policy is very problematic to me and not customer friendly at all. This place sucks - the management is very rude and do not listen to complaints. They sucker you in with low rates for about 3-months...then they double the rates on you - holding your stuff hostage. They will not negotiate lower rent at all...you either pay their higher rent or lose your stuff! Bad business and bad customer service - do not put your stuff in this place!

Dave the military style manager was rude to me because I was sitting in my couch in my storage locker reading my email. I don't deserve to be treated like a piece of crap whole I'm paying $350 a month to store my stuff. Goodbye extra storage. Try to treat people the way you want to be treated.

nice location and good building.. good customer service when receiving the confirmation call.. EXCEPT when you get there and try to ask the manager a simple question and he responds with another question beating around the bush with sarcasm. didn't save my first floor request, tried to charge us more, requested home owners insurance to allow us to use the facility, luckily I was able to resolve the problem with one phone call.. last, his suggestion of buying a lock sounded more like a car sales pitch.. I have been here for two years plus my rate has been raised 3 + times I finally called last month to talk to the staff about it. I spoke with Courtney who was helpful at first who even said you have been a loyal customer and mind you I have never complained and never have asked for anything. She then called me back a day later and let me know that they would lower my rate for the month of September. She asked me to please come in in September also to get me into possibly a smaller space. Facility is ok, but watch out for the old "bait & switch." Our $302/month tab was raised by $40.59 after just four months. Why? Because they can. I have some other storage spaces in CA and AZ and none of those landlords have done this. Anyway, if you need to store stuff beyond a month or two, be sure to ask these people what their intentions are. They're tough on you if you stay beyond the competitive initial price.
