DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. My unit was robbed within 3 months. My things were taken, boxes opened, and personal belongings found in the hallways in the building. I was assured the facility was safe and there was minimal theft. The price on my unit raised from $128 to $140 within 3 months. Upon arrival to the facility after the robbery, the staff was extremely rude and inconsiderate. The woman on staff explained, "well then you should have had insurance. Worst storage facility in the world. Everything of mine was burglarized from there and they could hardly give a shit. I think it was an inside job from the staff because nobody else would have access like that. Over $10,000 of items stolen. DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE OR YOU WILL LOSE IT ALL. computer, suits, sweaters, shoes, family heirlooms, and so much more.

If you're considering storage facilities, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Lack of Security; Break-Ins; Loss of Property and Poor Lighting were all issues that I had to deal with during the 5 months that I rented at this location. The coded magnetic lock on my building's entrance door had been tampered with so anyone could enter and exit without a code. Now, read more about the bait and switch tactics of this company: DO NOT RENT HERE, they have raised my rent 4 times within 1 year (same storage unit). Stay away from this place. Just got back from checking it out. Walked away in disgust. Two of the rudest men working the office; so full of themselves and so couldn't care less about customer service. What a joke. Also run insurance scam. Also bait and switch. Facility isn't impressive either. Went to Storit on Del Rey Avenue in the Marina. Such nice people. What a difference. They got my money.

Take your business elsewhere. I rented a 5x5 space for 1 year at a starting price of $80. After 4 months, the rate was increased to $90 a year for no reason other than an attempt to gain more money from customers. I am moving so I recently closed out my storage unit and there was a huge snafu about my final month's rent and how much I would have to pay -- one employee told me one thing, another said another that contradicted the first one. Avoid this place at all costs, go find a public storage or a place with better customer service and less homeless people waiting at the gates to get in. I had been a loyal customer for a long time paying $200 a month, and called to give a 30 day notice on July 17th, stating I would be leaving August 18th. No email was sent confirming the notice. Called attendant to put in a vacate notice and she stated okay but did not. I went online to check and there was no notice. She also said that I had been charged for the full next month and quickly said there was no refunds given. However, the charge is pending on my account now and was charged after I called to vacate prior to the next rental period.
