This is so upsetting. I am disappointed and very angry. I was totally lied to. I was told that if I had a business I would be able to have 24/7 access and this is not true. And not only did they not have the access the people there were so rude to me telling me to get off the premises when it was 10 minutes before closing. I made sure to be very clear about my need for 24/7 access and the man who signed me up for the unit swore I'd have it. Then they lied about the pricing. DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE! If you're looking to read a sad tale you have come to the right review. Let me set the stage, on the morning of May 31st my retail space was looted like many others in the Hollywood area. The next morning we packed up what was left of the business and had to store it somewhere. The closest place was here at Extra Space Storage. My storage unit was broken into during the coronavirus shelter in place and items were stollen and the whole unit was in complete chaotic mess. Now I'm going through the entire process of insurance and police reports. I would NOT trust this facility! The units are easily broken into and from reading previous reviews it seems this facility has an issue with robberies. DONT USE THEM!

GOT ROBBED HERE!!!! "Someone" (apparently with a large lock-cutter) cut off my lock, stole my stuff, then placed a EXTRA SPACE STORAGE labeled lock on my unit. When I returned two months later, the employee I dealt with told me she had seen that huge weird lock for months on this unit. Meaning that as soon as I moved in and went out of town someone was able to cut my lock off and Rob me and Extra Space storage has no footage of it. Inside job?

I am standing here at the wide open gate waiting for the LAPD. My locker and at least two others were broken into and absolutely EVERYTHING of value was stolen. I had a bunch of empty boxes meant for moving and they were all used to haul away everything. They picked through every single box and grabbed everything of value, many thousands of dollars worth. Absolute scam. They signed me up in April 2018 for $135 for a storage unit and the service agent assured me there would "small pricing increases over time." I checked my automatically billed credit card statement and since August 2018 they have without notice increased the fee to $280 - yes, they've doubled it. I called and the agent was extremely rude and said "we have every right to increase the rent it's in the agreement." So these guys tell you one thing and bury massive increases in the fine print. I have rented a storage unit at this location since 2015. I am so fed up with the scams and drama I could scream. Other reviewers have noted the steep rental fee hikes every 3 MONTHS. But what is going on there now is even worse. As of this month, the elevator in my storage building, which was always breaking down and poorly maintained, has gone belly-up. I will start by saying I am not or have never been a customer at this establishment. However, my credit card information was stolen and a payment of $408.00 was placed Via phone or online at this place of business. After speaking with my bank I decided to call them to inquire about the charge. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE IVE EVER VISITED!!! The people here do not work with you, they are absolutely ignorant and cannot work out a solution what so ever! I have had multiple bad encounters with their staff and services in PARTICULAR WITH THE MANAGER WHO HUNG UP ON ME because she simply didn't want to help us out. 1.)
