As I write this review I also begin a personal journal on my YELPING evolution. I'm not certain, but writing a review solely to spite someone else who conjured up a questionably negative review has got to indicate signs of some sort of growth. The facility is clean and secure, and the staff is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I never had any problems in 2 years of having a space there. I probably had to access the space more often than most, and every time I was there it was clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.

This location is trash. My unit was broken into and their mediocre attempt to notify me of the break in was an email with a subject line that looked like spam. Did I have insurance on the unit? Yes. Did they pay me for my losses? No. Avoid this location and storage company, there are far better options out there.

this place is super cheat. I paid 150+ tax for the starting unit so I can store some things away and leave it away there. I did it for a few months and then I went to look at my next bill and the bill had gone from 150 to 2:50 without any sort of notice without any sort of anything, it was $100 rent increase from one month to the next on the third to the fourth month. Beware they will raise the cost of your rental unit without warning within *months* of your signing up. Is this even legal? They don't tell you that they'll raise your rent to "market rate" when they gladly take your money when you first rent a unit. Extra space storage is a huge scam!!! They have purchased many fake five-star reviews on Google Maps. Look how many of these people have only reviewed this place and nowhere else! Re: Extra Space reply. Do not rent from Extra Space Storage. 1. Hidden in their agreement is that they can (and do) raise your rent at any time. 2. After ONE MONTH at the advertised rate that I signed up for ($167/mo) they raised it by 50%!!! 3. Without notice!!! 4. Only when I called them on this did they agree to a PARTIAL refund, and would not guarantee future increases would not happen. 5. They also changed my access code without notice, so when I went to my unit weeks later, I could not get in without another renter giving me their access cod... read more

Absolute scam. They signed me up in April 2018 for $135 for a storage unit and the service agent assured me there would "small pricing increases over time." I checked my automatically billed credit card statement and since August 2018 they have without notice increased the fee to $280 - yes, they've doubled it. I called and the agent was extremely rude and said "we have every right to increase the rent it's in the agreement." So these guys tell you one thing and bury massive increases in the fine print. My son rented a unit from them because they promoted on their website that they have managers living on site and 24/7 security cameras on all units. Since he just moved to Los Angeles, he needed a secured place to store his valuables. He had a small padlock that was told by one of their staff that it was sufficient because this storage place was a very secured one. I just moved to LA from Florida and placed about $20,000 worth of stuff in this storage unit in good faith, The security who signed me up ensured my stuff was safe and they have only had water damage. I went back a week later to find my lock bent and scraped with all my things stolen. Identity, laptop, iPad, about 15,000 in designer clothes Louis Vuitton backpack etc...
