I have been using Extra Space Storage for about 5 years, ,for mostly work and now for personal. I love & loved that: - It's always clean - Wendy Rocks! The staff is great to my boss's and staff. - They called everytime I received a package - I can access my unit w/no problem anytime w/extended hours They make my life easier!

After I just finished moving from San Francisco to Los Angeles, the last thing I wanted to do was deal with a storage facility. I was utterly amazed at the customer service I received from Wendy. They gave me a free month of storage (bc I mentioned Yelp), took me on a tour, and was extremely thorough and fast. I can trust that my belongings will be safe at this facility and I would highly recommend using Extra Space Storage.

Been using Extra Space Storage on Santa Monica for my job since September and I'm a pretty satisfied customer thus far! Took a couple stars off for a few minor things, but you should know that this place is pretty rockin as far as storage spaces go and the staff members are really excellent. I'm not organized. No matter how hard I try, it just never works out in my favor. I mean, I can keep up with it and know where things are or how I did this and how I did that, but if anyone ever needed an explanation of my filing or working process, it would never make sense. Enter Extra Space Storage. They allow for my excessive "stuff" to be packed away and then they do this wonderful thing like give me access to it any time I need it! 5 well-deserved stars. I will shout the Extra Space Storage gospel from the rooftops! I LOVE these guys! Wendy and her crew over at ESS have made my life a lot easier. You see when you run the most kick ass market of rockin' yelpers you find yourself knee deep in Yelp swag and when you live in a small apartment you ask yourself 'Where the hell am I going to put all this ish???' As I write this review I also begin a personal journal on my YELPING evolution. I'm not certain, but writing a review solely to spite someone else who conjured up a questionably negative review has got to indicate signs of some sort of growth. The facility is clean and secure, and the staff is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I never had any problems in 2 years of having a space there. I probably had to access the space more often than most, and every time I was there it was clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.

This location is trash. My unit was broken into and their mediocre attempt to notify me of the break in was an email with a subject line that looked like spam. Did I have insurance on the unit? Yes. Did they pay me for my losses? No. Avoid this location and storage company, there are far better options out there.

this place is super cheat. I paid 150+ tax for the starting unit so I can store some things away and leave it away there. I did it for a few months and then I went to look at my next bill and the bill had gone from 150 to 2:50 without any sort of notice without any sort of anything, it was $100 rent increase from one month to the next on the third to the fourth month.
