Wendy and Ray manage this property extremely well, and I found them both professional and likable. I had nice chats with both of them. They take pride in the upkeep of the location. They were always eager to answer all of my questions (and I had a lot!), and returned phone calls in a prompt manner. The place feels very secure. My experience with Extra Space Storage at 5825 Santa Monica was simply AMAZING. The staff had great attitude from the beginning and knew the meaning of GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is my first time renting a storage unit and all of my questions were answered while they also gave me a walk through of all the necessary details I need it know. The manager Wendy and her staff left me with peace of mind that I have left my personal items in GREAT trusting hands.

This extra space storage is great because of the people that work there. Wendy and Ray are amazing and the only reason why they are getting a lot of customers. I've been going here for over a year and seriously I really love Ray and Wendy. They are personable and kind and very accommodating. They also keep the facility very clean which is a huge plus and always have a can do attitude. Definitely the place to go for storage needs.

This place is amazing. I found out I had to put my stuff in storage about 24 hours before I was supposed to be on a plane and gone from LA for 2 months. Ray in their office got me set up with a bigger space than I needed for only $1/mo more, gave me the first month free (a walk-in special), and gave me the internet prices even though I was a walk-in. Best of all, he gave me 24-hour access for one night to get moved in. Usually 24-hour access is only available to commercial accounts. Wow! Ray is the best! He also waited patie... read more

It's clean, great location and Wendy the manager is very gracious. A few things I don't like is that it's not air conditioned which during the summer it's very warm in the hallways. The other thing I don't like is that Wendy charged me the highest rate until I told her I looked online, then she went online and gave me a better rate. I was also very dissappointed to find out that after only renting for 5 months my payment has now gone up $15 more!! I have been using Extra Space Storage for about 5 years, ,for mostly work and now for personal. I love & loved that: - It's always clean - Wendy Rocks! The staff is great to my boss's and staff. - They called everytime I received a package - I can access my unit w/no problem anytime w/extended hours They make my life easier!

After I just finished moving from San Francisco to Los Angeles, the last thing I wanted to do was deal with a storage facility. I was utterly amazed at the customer service I received from Wendy. They gave me a free month of storage (bc I mentioned Yelp), took me on a tour, and was extremely thorough and fast. I can trust that my belongings will be safe at this facility and I would highly recommend using Extra Space Storage.

Been using Extra Space Storage on Santa Monica for my job since September and I'm a pretty satisfied customer thus far! Took a couple stars off for a few minor things, but you should know that this place is pretty rockin as far as storage spaces go and the staff members are really excellent. I'm not organized. No matter how hard I try, it just never works out in my favor. I mean, I can keep up with it and know where things are or how I did this and how I did that, but if anyone ever needed an explanation of my filing or working process, it would never make sense.
