Nice facility but raised the price from 180 to 280$ within a couple months moving in. That's a drastic change.

Went to pay my storage today after being 2 mo. behind, I figured ok I'll pay the late fee, mind you the storage fee is $140 mo. Used to be $108 after taxes. 8 mo. In, I'm at $140 which they told me wouldn't increase and if it did, a couple of bucks. Anyway that's another story. So figure with the late fees, I'm looking at $320, right? No, $497.00 with some damn auction fee of $120 they applied, which was never revealed or explained to me at signing of my contract. My girlfriend moved her stuff into a space here when we moved in together. They increased the rental rate for the space after only 30 days by over 25%!!! After speaking to a manager they agreed to a 10% increase but came calling again the following month with another increase. This is a deceptive leasing practice that serves their profits over doing what is right for their customers. Make sure you get everything in writing and read the fine print for teaser offers.
This used to be a great storage facility, but with each passing year the facility upkeep gets worst and worst. The company never fails to raise the rent, but can't afford to have a soap dispenser, paper towels, or toilet paper consistently. DO NOT RENT FROM EXTRA SPACE. Updated: I am working with the manager at my location. I am hopeful they will be fair. I will update this post. Be aware to read the contract. It states MAY increase but then they tell you it was a promo rate and will expire. Make sure you are made aware of what the "real" price will be. The Web rate does not say this! AVOID, CHRISTMAS RUINED!!!!! If you lease units on the 2nd floor you will be randomly locked out of access to 2nd floor units (elevators shut down and stairwell doors locked). On 12/24 at 3:30 in the afternoon I went to my storage unit to retrieve my child's Christmas presents and could not access the 2nd floor. I am fully current on all my payments (I have 3 units there), I have video showing my code being put in and the words "ACCESS GRANTED" coming up on the elevator only to have the doors never open, all the stairwell do... read more

Do NOT rent here! My unit is trashed with mouse droppings and urine everywhere. The items inside are Completely ruined. There are mouse traps inside and outside the business yet they never notified me of issues !

This storage unit is nothing more than a rodent hotel!!! I'm not exaggerating one bit . This place has had multiple infestations and they offer insurance but it only covers 10k . Unfortunately, the damage I had far supersede 10K. I realize that we live in nature and that there can be pest problems, but renters should be warned if there is an infestation and major problem going on so they can do due diligence to protect their unit . You can find my previous review where I was super happy about my experience and I came back here to rent again because if it but this place has gone downhill. It really went from a 5 star to a 1 star. 1. Staff is nowhere near as friendly. They seem reluctant to even show me storage I wanted to rent. Secondly, when I asked to sign up in person, the representative kept telling me to do it online as it's much easier he claims (perhaps it's easier for him).
