I don't recognize this clinic after my first visit, in which everyone was so kind, friendly and respectful - across the board. They called yesterday to switch my appointment less than 24 hours before, which I was happy to do, after such a beautiful first visit and warm welcome we got. Called this morning needing to put our dog down. He is 15 yrs old and has been fighting through liver disease for 2 yrs. Last night he suffered a stroke and just made it through the night. I was told there are no appointments until mid week but they could book an after hour appointment ensuring to mention the astronomical cost involved. Absolutely do not use this Clinic, the prices are out of control. There are more than half a dozen choices in Lethbridge and Taber that are half the price and the service is equal to if not better. Look around and you will save money, I should have taken this advice myself today.
Family pet hospital underquotes and overcharges. The vet we spoke with came into the conversation defensive and rude when we questioned why we were being charged $300 for them to diagnose & treat an ear infection on an otherwise healthy dog. We had called before hand and were quoted $85 + meds, which already seemed steep but because we love our dog we were willing to pay it. Told your going to pay 500$ for some urine and blood samples. Then adding 85$ health examination fee ( when you never seen the doctor for more than a minute because they were busy w. emergencys. Saying he need 270$ test the internet says is silly and that the previous days urine test could have been a better indictator but guilting me into paying away. We loved this clinic but since Dr Barry left we have only found help from Dr Kate. After the last issue trying to get our cat in for emergency care today and being told they have No doctors on Tuesdays and Thursdays and they said I should go to Ranch Docs but couldn't look up directions in a time I was on the phone with them and holding a crying and hurting cat.
