I received two Rapid Covid Tests from Fast Pace recently. I was under the assumption that either my insurance would cover it or it would be a small fee (up to $50 per test). I've had several Covid tests and I've never owed anything. Fast Pace charged me $1461 for two rapid tests!!! Though my insurance paid $356.20 towards this total, they still billed me for $1105.60. I am very angry!!! I went to Fast Pace on October 23rd for a UTI. I told the nurse when I went in that I did have insurance with ********************** and that I understood that their might be a co-pay for today's visit. The nurse made a copy of my Insurance card, and asked if I would put a card on file for the purpose of the Co-pay, which she said my be $50 or $75. I gave her information as requested. Wife called the fast pace in dunlap tn to find out about a steroid shot. They told here it would be 75 dollars. She went and got the shot and paid them the 75. We then get a bill saying we owe 218 more. This is after the insurance paid 440. I called them and they said there was nothing they could do. I explained to them that they told her the price and she paid it. It then got sent to a collection agency and when I called them it ended up with them arguing with me about it. My daughter had to have get a covid test for college. She went, paid our $35 co-pay required for an Urgent Care facility by ****, yet they charged me $731! Of course my insurance says that is way more than the service so they won't pay it. This is ridiculous especially when they are not this expensive. No wonder insurance companies have to raise their premiums for people like this that charged way more than they should. I took my daughter to the Fast Pace Urgent Care in Portland Tennessee we had our Covid test done came back negative but when I return the following week three days in a row they told me that they could not see her even though I had tried to go online all day and all night to make an appointment for three days this walk-in clinic told me that they didn't have time to see my daughter but told me to return if her symptoms got worse so I had to end up taking her to another one

I took my daughter to Fast Pace Urgent care in Jefferson City, TN for a sore throat. We did go after hours due to work schedule. I paid for 40$ copay. I later received a bill for 110$. When I called to inquire why I had received this bill I was told, if they felt this was an emergent visit and I had **** insurance they could charge my insurance an ER visit copay. Primary care fnp is amazing.... billing department is a NIGHTMARE!!!' If I go see my primary care provider for anything other than getting prescription refills, they automatically charge me an exorbitant amount. My copay for office visits is 30 , specialist is 60. I do not think an fnp visit should be billed as a specialist. She is special. But NOT A SPECIALIST. IT IS A GIMMIC ..

I've been trying to handle an insurance situation with them for over a year! The insurance was not run correctly and it was turned over to collections. My daughter has a primary and secondary. Both myself and her dad contacted our insurance companies and did everything we needed to do and was assured by fast pace it would be handled. That was a year ago. Nothing was done. My son went to our local Fast Pace clinic for a Covid test on August 14,2020. He is under his dads insurance that pays 100% of all Covid testing. We received a bill for 667.00 and our part was 200.00. I have called numerous times on this matter and they seem to not want to resolve it. They also coded their billing as an outpatient ( which they are not associated with a hospital ) and not as urgent care.
