Terrible service, rude over the phone, they dont even wanna give you information from your own files from previous visits to their clinic. I suggest finding another provider if you think that you may have questions of any kind. They are clearly too busy to answer them and you are not important to them at all

FastMed has been my go-to urgent care clinic since I moved to Asheville and I'm honestly not sure why I keep coming back to this place. My first experience was great. I was in and out in under an hour and was diagnosed with strep. My last 3 experiences have been terrible. They diagnosed me with scabies and prescribed me a $60 cream to put on my skin for a month - only to find out at the dermatologist that it wasn't scabies and was diagnosed with something completely different. I had been in Asheville about one week and I hadn't established a connection with a Physician yet. I stopped here. I was the only person there and reception couldn't be bothered. Being seen took rather a long time. They get two stars only because they helped me. I wish I had known not to go here.

The first time I took my Daughter to the Candler location I had a pretty good experience. Over the Christmas Holiday (Friday 12/22 & Tuesday 2/26) I took her back for a terrible cough that has been lingering for a week. My initial thought was pneumonia. I expressed this to the Doctor and PA I saw at both appointments! They listened to her lungs, took oxygen levels and both the Doctor and PA insisted it was either viral or upper respiratory infection. No medication prescribed! This is a terrible company. Check their ratings on the Better Business Bureau. They charged my insurance $509 to wash my cut finger and put a dab of skin glue on it. Their corporate office is completely unresponsive and non-transparent. Don't put your healthcare in the hands of this sorry company. Go to Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care, instead. They have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and will not cheat you.

Care is great & customer service at facility but when their billing department processes your claim they bill incorrectly so its not paid by the insurance company even when they are in network. We have been to their facility 3x's in the past year & a half. The first 2 times they billed it billed per the facility doctor which is a on network doctor the last time they billed the facility instead of the doctor. Aetna has called their billing department & I have as well telling the company billing department how to bill the cla... read more

Receptionish was rude at check in. I took my son there with sore throat and drainage symptoms. The nurse did a step test without anyone seeing him or examining him (he didn't have strep). The policy of the office is to keep a credit card on file and bill withing 24 hours of the insurance being filed and confirmed. They will not see you with out a credit card on file or a cash deposit left there. They emailed me before I received the filing notification from my insurance company. Don't let the fast fool you. I called ahead and wasn't told once I got there it was a 2hour wait. Go somewhere else!!! They don't have enough staff patients in a timely manner.

Shouldn't even get 1 star. Have been sitting for over an hour just to do a drug test. No one in waiting room. Went up to the desk 2 times and they say they are short staffed!! Will not recommend coming here.
