Also saw Joy, Laura and Robert when I went in this morning. Zero wait (at 10:45 on Sunday, not a huge surprise), and the staff were all pleasant, kind, concerned, professional, and gentle with my injury. They also took my BCBS insurance no problem, which I know some urgent care places don't. Overall, I'm not planning on going anywhere else in the future. The interior was nice and clean and I really couldn't have been happier with the service.

Okay so honestly, I had a really great experience with the E MILLBROOK RD location! The staff is friendly. Joy, Laura, and Robert really helped me out today. I will not be going to other Urgent Cares in the future. They are conveniently located right across the street from me. If it wasn't for my Insurance provider BCBS, I know I probably would have been seen sooner. But even so, I got there a little before 9am, and its now 11:15am I'm home and I have been to the pharmacy and everything. Keep up the good work guys and gals!!... read more

I was in an accident and been to this location once or twice but not that impressed. This place was our closest resort. The place we'd normally go to was closed. My husband and I first thought they were closed. Our car was the only one there in the parking lot though there was still a wait. The checkin took forever for no reason. My copay for reasons she couldn't show nor explain and never billed for was $99. Everything was fine, but the doctor was arrogant and treated my husband like trash because for his DOT exam he didn't know English, which he need. She went in the exam room without making eye contact, "sit over there" , what truck do you drive he was starting to freeze because he's not Mr perfect English and he froze and couldn't understand the third question. My experience at FastMed Urgent Care Raleigh East Millbrook was horrific. Long Wait Time: I waited for 90 minutes before being seen by a medical assistant. Lack of Care: I felt that the staff at FastMed did not prioritize my care and were more concerned with casual conversations. High Cost and Inappropriate Prescription: I was charged $50 for a PA visit and received a prescription for a brand-name medication that was not covered by insurance, costing $425. I am extremely disappointed with our experience at FastMed. We went early one morning because my wife was not feeling well. When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk. After a short wait, the receptionist came out while continuing a conversation with someone in the back. From the start, it felt like she was doing her job with minimal care or attention toward us. First off please change the name to SLOW MED. there is absolutely nothing fast about this place. Then the nurse calls me back and says "what's up with you today" ma'am what??!!! Can you say hello or anything. Then she takes my blood pressure 2 times I tell her it's wrong it has never been high she says I'll do it again later and proceeds to document the high number. I set an online appt and was called by the office immediately. They wanted me to come in now since I fell and stated I think I might have broken ribs. It was 2pm and they close at 4, per the young lady that called. I informed them it would be at least 30 mins. They called back again telling me that the PA on duty felt I should go to the ER as an X-ray may not show if ribs are broken. Mentioned again that they close at 4. A shithole of epic proportions. Seems like a scam to be honest. 20 people there for workplace comp "injuries" all were prioritized ahead of me even though I was bleeding profusely. Almost had the vibe of a "pill mill" where people go to get OxyContin. A true shit basket. I wound up going to AFC then care down the road after waiting an hour at fastmed and was seen quickly and the waiting room was 10x cleaner.
