Fun place but too expensive, and took a long time to wait for not so great food
This was for a High School Senior graduation party for 15 kids/adults. It was a great time until we were told we had to leave so they can set up for another party. I was never told there was a time limit in the location where we were at. Then we felt rushed and the last 1/2 hour was not pleasant. The manager never spoke with us but kept sending our waitress over to do time checks.
First time there. Was a little disapointed. We had reservations at 6:00 pm on the patio. Workers were busy setting up for the evening and it was a bit messy. We were in the corner off to the side. It took a little time for a server to come ask us if we wanted drnks. Setting up the patio for the night scene should be done way BEFORE you start seating people for dinner. it was unorganized to say the least. We were celebrating (2) birthdays that never got mentioned! I don't think we will be returning.
Open Table booked our 10am Mother's Day Brunch reservation, but when we arrived we found out they did not open until 10:30am. In addition, we were greated to a sign saying due to high demand we must be done in 2 hours or less. The grill was very disorganzuied with chef's areguing with each other and customers regarding who was next in line, how to get food prepared, and even mixed up our so called custom order by giving my wife someone else's omlette and she received that of another. Well intended, but extremely overpacked and slow to no service. Literally could not get flatware and napkins for 30 minutes b/c it was "all in use". Trying hard, but in no way prepared for the number of guests they seated. And having a reservation means little...
It was fine. That's it. The service was fine, the food was okay. Nothing bad to say, just not very memorable.
I went here on a whim with a friend while I was visiting Anaheim and the service was not good but the cooks were awesome and the food was great. So when a business associate suggested we go there after our convention I didn't want to argue. We made a reservation, got there a little early. No problem so we waited until our time, while we waited the hostess (who we spoke to) sat another group ahead of us. Then she asked if we had been helped. Was disappointed with overall experience. Did not realize that it was an upscale buffet.
Attitude at hostess to no food or bowls on the ingredients line - pass on this place
