Arriving at fire and ice was easy, especially with the amount of parking garages nearby making parking a convenience! The greeters inside seemed enthusiastic and welcoming. Heading into the dining room was fun as the atmosphere was alive and popping! Getting the food was easy and enjoyable with the cooks putting on a good show. And as expected, the food tasted fantastic! Will definitely be going back again!
We went on a Monday and it was such a good deal for being College/Military night for dinner. The buffet is cook it yourself, so you can pick the meal. Make some pasta, fry a hamburger, or make your own stir-fry noodles/rice. There are a good selection spices and sauces and it's really cool to see the big tenpanyaki-like cooking table, and the wait isn't too bad. It's a little confusing if you've never done it before, but it is definitely worth the experience!
Fire & Ice was great fun.The whole dining experience was fun and the price was great!
The place is lively and loud. The attendants are vert good. Even though I did not like the food much it is a good experience being there. You might wanna ask the chefs to grill the food for longer thannusual or twicr as I felt that mine was undercooked.
Last visited Fire + Ice in Cambridge 18 years ago. Brought kids this time before going to a show. The food was great! The cooks were engaging. My son was able to "serve" his mother from the cooking area. Staff made our experience one to remember! If you have never been, or have not been in a long time, GO!!!
Based on reviews, I thought the restaurant was a perfect choice for my family, who all have diverse food interests. However, the reality did not meet the expectation at all. The restaurant is very industrial, prices are fairly high, and the flavor is really dependent on the diner, not the chef. Though it is clear that the patron pick the foods, sauces, and spices, I thought there might be staff to help the diner make the most of the meal. My mistake. I went with a stir fry and though cooked correctly, it did not taste any be... read more
We had a fun time at this place, loved the drinks. My palette was a little more sophisticated than the others I was dining with, so I thought the options were a little basic. I was disappointed that they did not have sour cream as an item for their Mexican cuisine. I felt there were some odd choices available, when popular/savory items I would expect were not a part of their offering.
Very fun atmosphere, also very crowded and loud, the chefs on the grill are great. However did not appreciate being called once and emailed twice to be told that we needed to be there on time for our reservation, only to show up early, and have to stand and wait for fifteen minutes past our reservation time to get seated.
The decor was very cartoonish and childish. The music was so loud I could barely hear myself talk. The crowd was mostly young adults trying to be "hip," and although the restaurant seemed like it would be more suitable for children, there were several couples making out and wearing inappropriate clothing. However, the idea of the restaurant was good and the food was average.
