Has potential in concept, but not well ran, dirty, confusing and not worth the money. The foods are cooked too closely together, which means a vegan can end up with meat in their meal. Also too confusing of a process overall and too cramped of a location to facilitate this Mongolian concept.
This is a price fixed all you can eat. You pick out the food on a salad bar type setting and then it is cooked while you watch on a hibachi type grill. The floors were filthy; the staff was indifferent. It was like a factory assembly line for food. It was extremely loud.
The food here was much better than expected and our server was great- but kept very busy. It was loud and there were two busloads of campers so there was a long line for all the food which is in different spots - so you had to wait in multiple lines including getting your food cooked. We were a party of 8 - put in an alcove with a round table with no ventilation - and seeing that the food is buffet - if anyone got up - everyone had to get up to let them out. Good place for young people - not relaxing - but the food was good ... read more
Brought friends from out of town. The service was deplorable. Several times we had to get up and find our waitress. We waited 40 minutes to get our drinks. After dinner we ordered ice cream and had to wait a half hour to get it. The food was good but the service was awful.
Been there twice. The service was disappointing both times. Constantly LOOKING for the server. They are VERY understaffed, even for a quasi-self-service restaurant.
Place was dirty, floor, table, chairs were sticky. Waitstaff was ambivalent
Drink was not how it was described. Restaurant was dirty.
Was pretty disappointed. Took my wife and two young kids here for a fun dinner out while in the city for the weekend. Once we were seated, no one came to greet us or get drink orders for 10 minutes. Eventually a different server took pity on us and brought us water and explained the process. Our actual server came after we returned with our food, but did little else for us. It was also uncomfortably hot even far from the grill. Final straw was our illustrious server trying to charge my 6 and 9 year olds for adult meals; luck... read more
If there was ever a way to get a refund for a meal, this would be a time our group would deserve one. There were 4 of us, we had a great waiter, that was about the only good thing. The food was not good, and our meals were slopped on our plates. It was about 85 degrees in the restarunt, making it hard to eat, and our alcoholic drinks and beers were served in plastic. Very disappointing, especially since the bill was $180 with drinks.
