Welcoming staff were rude. They did not even read the special requests that was included in the reservation and refused to accommodate. Buffet was mediocre with only stir fry type selections. Waiter was ok but interaction was poor. Mixed drink were terrible, the Margarita was all tequila. Bud Lite draft was flat.
We were seeking a "kid friendly " place to enjoy a family meal after a day in Boston . Our reservation was for 5:30pm on a Saturday night . We had 8 people ( 3 young children) . Our seating was in a small circular alcove which required rearranging ourselves , climbing over our selves and crawling under the table ( the kids ) each time we left and came back with salads , main course or bathroom trip. The background music was a pounding hip-hop beat and the noise level so excessive that you had to shout at table mates. The wai... read more
Ew. This is just not fun for us. Cheap food. Cold potatoes. It take 10 minutes to get a dish cooked. I prefer normal dining out.
I had a reservation for 5 at 8:15pm. Was told by the host that it would be a few minutes, as they were very busy, but because I had a reservation, I would get a table. After waiting 2 hours and watching other, larger groups that had arrived after us get seated ahead of our group, I went to speak to the host. As I was waiting to speak to him, he was telling a group that he would seat them immediately because they were unhappy. We left out of frustration and disbelief. Completely wasted our entire night. I will not be recommen... read more
Exciting, but disappointing. I went years ago but my boyfriend never has, so we made the trip into Boston to check it off our list. I regret putting shrimp in my meal, because the chefs just slice everything up - so we both ended up with shrimp tail (shells) scattered throughout our plates. Yuck. The drinks (Mango daiquiri and a House Red Bull vodka drink) tasted like cough syrup.
Was excited to go there because of the ability to chose your food items and then bring it over to have it cooked. The food is not very good. Very few meat selections (chicken, beef, fish, shrimp) but nothing was good about it. You can choose rice, pasta or salad to put the meat on. If you do not know how to cook (I DO), your food will taste terrible because you literally have to apply your own seasonings to the plate. I saw people just putting a little salt on the meat and then taking it over to the grilling station (ummmm t... read more
Did not like the atmosphere. Very unorganized chaotic dinner. I made a reservation and we were seated 30 minutes after reservation time. We sat down and it would've taken over 15 minutes to get our drinks ordered if my wife hadn't gotten up and asked the receptionist for help. Food was not good. Wish there was a little more direction from the restaurant on what spices to use and what foods go with what. Cooks were loud and yelling at people around the restaurant. They were not funny. Just not a good experience at all. In lin... read more
Our server was excellent - he was very friendly and helpful. However, my fiancé and I were not impressed with the chef. We've gone to this restaurant several times (a year!) and have never had a problem but this time I was extremely disappointed. He was rude to several guests who clearly had never been there before and didn't cook our food appropriately. There were at least 2 times when he left the cook top completely unattended for about 5 minutes, but thankfully there was another chef who must have just started his shift a... read more
We went for my husband's birthday this past weekend. Our 7 yr old daughter filled up her plate with food to be cooked. While waiting for the food, she ate about 5 or 6 pieces of cubed fruit. When the food arrived, she stated she couldn't eat it as her stomach started feeling funny. Manager would not allow us to take home her food so she could eat it later, even though she didn't touch it. $9 for 6 pieces of cubed fruit. They should at least allow kids to take home their uneaten food if they only had one plate they didn't fin... read more
