I called to change my payments to Thurs. as that's when my check comes in. I still have to change the second one to Thurs. as well. Will call tomorrow.

Initially things went about as expected with a lease to own company and i had no complaints. I make my payments on time and ive finished 4 leases now. The issue came when they sent me a projector i had ordered. I received the projector just fine except it came with absolutely zero peripherals. Did not come with any power cables, remote, or a/v cables. I called to have the peripherals shipped and they told me to wait a couple weeks to receive them. Flexshopper is a predatory and life-damaging company! BEWARE! They will tell you that they will accept a payment plan and then withdraw all the payments from your bank account immediately once you give them your card information. Very shady. They will cite the contract which I did not see anything in it about charging a debit card that was not authorized for automatic payments in the contract (The card in the contract had been closed due to fraud and a new one sent to me with a different number). I paid $50 to try an aggressively knock down my lease, and the representative named diamond was very helpful when I found out that they take 40% of a partial payment that is made on a lease that is past 90 days of the cash buyout time. I did not know this ahead of time when dealing with the company months ago but that is because I aggressively paid before the 90 day. And then got a little lazy. You are paying almost double of what the original price is. It is not worth it. It is a better idea to save the same amount that you would pay them and get the product in a year or less then it is to pay them. You may not get the item right away, but you save so much more money.

I have been a responsible customer with Flexshopper for almost a year now and have always made my payments on time... The last few months have been a problem in regards to the billing dept. Flexshopper has somehow found it ok to just charge my card for 3 additional weeks without my authorization!!! Its the 2nd time its happened in the last 3 months! I like the fact that they allowed me, a person with bad credit and a recently filed bankruptcy, to open a line of credit with them. I make my payments with them of course, as I should. The only issue I have, is that as soon as you miss a payment, they hound you to death. They send you text messages, they call every day, and they email you so many times. I understand that I owe them, but they charge weekly, and I'm only paid bi-weekly. Flexshopper was able to switch this for me to bi weekly payments. I still don't like the fa... read more
