Honesty up front about the amount of time and documentation needed. It took 8 months for our loan to be closed. Every time we submitted documents a request for more information was forthcoming. It was an unpleasant process.

Closing the loan in less than 7 months, getting a straight answer to questions, MOH not selling the loan as promised, getting a copy of all documents we signed as promised just to name a few things.

The issues were usually that there were 3 people who helped us get the loan. Often, they did not seem to know what each had said or asked for. We got different information from each person. Maria seemed to be prompt with response and clear and simple with explanations to things. Even though I understand the process, it is still frustrating to see incorrect documents that I am being asked to sign that are incorrect. Communication was weak. When we could contact Frank with questions he would usually just pass it off to an assistant. Closing took forever. We had a closing date but never got contacted with a time. So I had to ask the day before and come to find they were still working on the survey. Like a week later we closed :(

We found communications and requests for information to be confusing and repetitive. Perhaps the laws have changed since we got our previous mortgage 3 or 4 years ago, but we did not need to send nearly as much information. Our credit ratings are excellent and the process simply should not have needed all of that work and time to complete.

Professionalism from you loan preparation staff was lacking. You dont laugh at your customers and hang up on them. The outsourced appraisal company Appraisal Linx accepted a revision with multiple errors on the appraisal costing Mutual of Om Mortgage and your customer thousands of dollars. This is NOT acceptable.
