Anniversary with an old timey twist!
No gluten free options for bread or desert, or even for the rack of lamb which on the menu says can be ordered without Panko crust. Food is okay but not worth what they're charging...
Elegant dining in downtown Nevada City. Great food, well-prepared. The best wait staff. Our go-to for a fabulous evening!
From the minute we walked in to the minute we left, a memorable experience. Staff delightful, owners welcomed us like family. Food-amazing! The lamb was the best I’ve ever had! We will return-thank you ALL!
The dinner and entire experience was awesome as always.
Food did not impress. Ribs were chewy and too salty. Duck was lackluster and veggies bland. Drinks were great and service was wonderful. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things?

We are frequent diners at Friar Tucks because there is so much that continues to draw us back. The owners love to connect with their patrons. The food, service and ambiance provide the perfect recipe for an evening out.
Still our favorite after many years. Always a great experience.
