Our warranty was running out at the end of the month and we wanted to get our final car service. We asked to have the rear hatch looked at and repaired (it would close automatically and not stay open. The dealership wanted to charge us prior to checking to see if it was covered. They ended up fixing it under warranty after we said we wouldn't pay for it because it was covered. Vehicle was serviced. Recall was checked but they said the under side of the hood OK so no work was done. I also had a right rear buzz originating in the rear quarter area for 2021 Ford Escape Hybrid (NHTSA # 10200759) and they did not do the work because they said my VIN did not qualify yet I have had that noise since I got the car (on my first service they heard the noise and replaced my speaker in that area) and I believe it was a lot of labor and they simply did not want to do it so I am frustrated.
