I have been a customer since 2018 I owe no balance but when I attempted to transfer my service to a new resident I was first told I had to now pay a deposit over 400. Dollars. I called back and spoke to another agent and was told I had to reapply and was given the excuse it was because I closed out my account by paying my final payment I don’t qualify for a transfer of services but I am a new customer. The original server stated I could have service transfer as long as I stayed current on my bills. That proved not true.. ... read more

I did paperless billing and auto pay and would just glance at the total. Well I should not have done that because they charged me 5% late charge EVERY month!!!! How does that happen with auto pay? My contract is up March 1st and I WILL NOT renew with them!!

If even half of you have experienced the absolute ruse we have in Frontier billing, there is no possible way the 4.9 in satisfaction is remotely TRUE! I have shopped power for years. I have never seen a company over bill the way Frontier does especially with a year contract! They will take your highest billed month and will raise your charges to maintain as close to that amount as possible for the majority of the year!! They raised our costs over 4 cents - without notice - charge late fees when your bill is not late - you ca... read more

Leaving a review based on the experience I am currently praying for positive resolution. So I literally just started service with this company 10/1/2019... so yeah, 6 days ago... this morning I just so happened to log in to my account, as I am making sure all things are going smoothly with my move... There is an entirely different, incorrect address associated with my account! Showing that service began at this address the exact same day as the address In which I live and have services. My correct address nowhere to be foun... read more

Frontier sucks. They care more abt their bottom line, than their customers. They do not hold their agents accountable for misinforming you. Nor will they take responsibility for the error. Its not good business.

Got a surprise, my electric bill was going from $140-$170 a month. I renewed my contract with FRONTIER UTILITIES in August. I was shocked when my January electric bill was $438. This is for a two bedroom apartment. I figured some mistake had been made and paid it. This month the electric bill was for $383. I called FRONTIER UTILITIES yesterday. I had to get through two people before I got to a manager. She told me that my usage hadn't changed that much. This is where it got strange. She said that my rates changed in August w... read more

I pay a flat rate of $145 per month for 2000 kWh, use it or lose it. This past month, Frontier did a 35 day reading, putting me 213 kWh into the penalty rate of 15.9 cents, billing me an extra $33.87. HOW DARE THEM? Next month, what will happen? Oh, probably a 25 day billing period for a flat $145 on 1600 kWh. This HAS to be ILLEGAL.

Absolute garbage people all around. My first 6 months or so was fine. When I got very sick in January and subsequently spent 95% of that and the following three months in the hospital, they failed multiple times to put my account on hardship, as I was not home and did not need electricity. Despite this, I paid my bills despite them becoming quite late as a result of their failures. When renewal time came up, I was given a single option to renew on the website (which is poorly constructed and rarely ever properly loads in mu... read more
