Took 2 hours for a straight across trim. Didn't get a style or a manicure or pedicure... Asked for a max of 3 inches and got 5 taken off. They are learning but without supervision. Be careful!
If you are black and have natural hair, only go to someone that you KNOW can do natural black hair. They don't teach it.
If you want to spend 6 hours getting a 2 hour hair process done by people who have no idea what they're doing this is a great place to go. I was getting a full foil by a girl who took, on average, 6 minutes per foil application. She had no idea what she was doing and had to be corrected by her instructor so many times I can't count. So if you want to get your hair ruined and be late for all the other things you had to do that day, this place is great.
The place is worn out.....the instructor is not nice and refuse to have the student redo the hair. The hair color has blotches all over.
Will not come back to this place..
This company is going through a transition. The quality of service they used to offer was a much more refined. Their training program is less thorough so their customer service is dramatically lacking especially from the Gary Manuel Institute in Seattle.
The girl that did my hair was so nice. So was everyone else who worked there. I got home and there were big chunks of black hair (my bangs) too and the rest was the dark brown I had asked for.
I've gone here several times but lately it seams like I can't get a really good trim and I need to remind the stylest what all I want down.
Took over 2 hours for a conditioning treatment and trimming my shoulder length hair into an A Line cut. Never got to my bangs!! Didn't want to bring it up. The instructors were busy chatting with each other and planning their own haircuts then paying attention to the trainees. Was not a great experience. Will not go back.
