I recently switched dental plans from PPO to HMO, and honestly I was hesitant to go to a group office. I inherited a propensity for dental problems from my parents and I thought having a relationship with an individual dentist was important. I have to admit I was wrong to be concerned. Gentle Dental Placentia by far exceeded my expectations of how a dental office professionalism and treatment should be represented. My oldest son recently became a patient at the Placentia location. Nicole and her staff are very friendly and carrying. Nicole made sure all my questions and concerns were answered regarding my sons treatment. Years ago, I used to drive all the way from Orange County to Riverside County to get my teeth cleaned by Dr. Michael Simonian. Why? Because, he was literally the ONLY dentist that I could find that wasn't trying to swindle me. As others have mentioned, his bedside manner and technique are bar none. He's the guy you refer patients to who might be afraid to go to the dentist. He is super sweet and honest. Sadly, he left California altogether, and set up shop in Nevada for years. Today was my very first experience here at the Gentle Dental office in Placentia. I was slightly nervous about coming in since I haven't had a check-up in years... Yes, YEARS! However, upon meeting Dr. S., Henny, and Nicole, I had an incredible experience!! Dr. S. and his staff were extremely kind, accommodating, and patient to my needs! I highly recommend this office!!

Overall great experience. Dr Simonian was very personable and gentle. I came into the office for a routine teeth cleaning and ended up having to replace an old filling. Although my moth is a bit sore, I left there feeling like he took great care of me and really cares about his patients. I'll be back!

Was long overdue for a routine dental checkup. Seamlessly able to make appointment. My wife and I had the afternoon off so they took us both a bit earlier and got us squared away. Staff is great, looked up what was covered, provided us an accurate estimate and had us going in no time. From the front reception to the back office: evaluation, exam and treatment; truly seamless and wonderful. Dr. S is warm, friendly and an experienced dentist. I never write reviews, ever. So this is big for me but I really enjoyed my experience here. My little sister and I had appointments scheduled for a check up and the staff was incredible. Highly recommend gentle dental. Everyone is so welcoming and they let you know exactly what's going on with your teeth and how to go about fixing those things. Not a fan of going to the dentist but I did not mind coming in today. Come check them out. You won't be disappointed!
