If there ever was a worse-case scenario for a refinance mine was it. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. It was such a complicated mess due to my banks incompetence. Just refinanced my house located in Santa Clara, California with GSF. My current lender Wells couldn’t help me on my refinance with good rate. GSF staff is very knowledgeable and response very fast.

Truly an exceptional experience. GSF staff is very knowledgeable and professional. The best part is the web based upload process. Even when the seller asked to close the deal one week earlier GSF was well prepared and closed at sellers request and makes both the parties satisfied. Definitely would recommend using GSF Mortgage. I got a VA Guaranteed Home Loan from Pam Gustafson at GSF Mortgage after I did a search for lenders on Zillow.com. I shopped around with several different lenders and GSF was 1/2% lower than every other lender. Since I went with the VA Home Loan Program, I didn't have to put up a down payment, don't pay PMI, and didn't even have to pay the funding fee because of my 10% disability rating with VA. Our mortgage broker was very responsive the moment we sent her an email we had the response in less than 1 hour. She explained every detail very well which was important for us because we where a first time buyer. There was a problem with the mortgage release of the house that we where buying, which postponed the closing twice and resulted in some extension fees for our mortgage rate extension. So they were good for us but not sure if the sellers like them.
