One of the sales rep (Chris Weatherspoon) reached out promising he had one of the spec'd cars I was looking out for and requested me to come in to take a look, promising a truecar exceptional price. Checked the inventory and called him again to confirm the availability when I didn't see it on their inventory, and he mentioned some PDI process wasn't put in to reflect on the website. BUYER BEWARE: took my new truck in for service and they scratched my tailgate in the process. They promised to make it right and used a little touch-up paint on a deep scratch. They said they couldn't fix it the right way because that would bring down the vehicles value. What?!!! Sure, because a deep gouge certainly won't (SARCASM)! Go anywhere else.
My purchasing experience was fine....this is a review of the service department. As I write this, I am 3 hours into waiting for an oil change and general check up. I showed up at 655am for a 7am appointment....first in line, so I wouldn't think there would be any delays. It is a little after 10am and I have had no updates. When I checked in, The service team did ask if I wanted to be driven anywhere or had a ride coming...I declined, thinking I'd be waiting 2 hours worst case scenario. Talked to dealer on phone and was told that he was looking at the new car we were interested in and that it was available for purchase. Drive 200 miles/3 hours only to find that no one knows where the car was - Jerry Jones had it. They finally found it on a side lot and it was dirty with 4600 miles on it. Then they wouldn't deal because even though it had miles on it it wasn't considered a used car. Really?
