By far the worst place to buy a vehicle. Asked to be financed through our own bank since they are a "preferred dealer" they ended up financing us through another loaner and didn't bother to tell us. No we have to go to our bank and refinance after only 2 weeks of owning the car. By far the worst customer "service" I have ever delt with.
Things that make you go hmm mm.... Have called multiple times (over a multi month period) to have recall airbag replaced on or Shelby. Grapevine say they will call and they don't. We had a friend call for us. They confirmed they have part and could schedule in 2-3 weeks. They will call back to schedule. They didn't call back. He called again. My son was ready to close the deal on a new truck went back to sign papers and price went up 7000..... poor business !
They changed the selling price after a down payment was made. I am calling BBB.
Most unprofessional experience in buying a vehicle and complete waste of time. We left this afternoon after agreeing on price/payments AND paying our down payment. Came back this evening to pick up our vehicle. First of all, truck had not even been brought around to begin with. When we got inside, suddenly the price had increased by almost $7000. The service department usually does a pretty decent job of helping. Except now Grapevine Ford is refusing to give us the license plates to our new car until we pay the service bill on a car we don't even own anymore. It was a trade in for the new car. We specifically asked that the repairs be applied to our trade in and they "agreed" and it would be recorded in the phone log conversations where they said they would and did do that. However now they keep calling stating we owe the money. So what gives Ford? Did you lie to us ... read more
