They did not rotate the tires. I know this is true. I spoke to the service manager -- he asked for proof and I told him my story. He didn't ask again! So, how do I know they did any of the other items on the list! He's lying to and cheating the company that has my extended lifetime warranty; he's making claims and getting paid for work not done. What else hasn't been done? Is my car safe? Really upsetting... and unfortunately, I am stuck with him -- for the lifetime of my car.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting this dealership for what I thought would be a simple and straightforward car service. However, my optimism quickly turned to frustration and disbelief as I was subjected to some of the most outrageous and offensive pricing tactics I've ever encountered. Five days aftermy recent experience My car showed some issues. I noticed the cooling fluid tank was empty. And it still had the problems so I had to take it back for service. Nothing was found but it was very inconvenient to see that they didn't do a good joib.
They were good on helping me get a car and did give me a few discounts. However, they wanted to get the sale on the books before the end of the month, so they were a bit pushy to get the car to me and while I was reading the papers before I signed them. I did not feel comfortable with the sale due to this.
Definitely told lies trying to get more money for parts that cost less than labor and could easily change out by yourself.
I took the vehicle in for an oil change, tire rotation, state vehicle inspection, and to address a recall. When finished and all checked it the state inspection paper work was left in the car. I look it over and all the papers say for each test not started. The purpose of the state inspection is so I can register the vehicle which I certainly could not. 7/8/23-Went for an oil change and tire rotation. 7:30am work done. Finished around 12:00pm noon!! 4 1/2 hours. Was informed needed: -valve cover gasket. BUT to do gasket may break one of the ignition coils and would be $135 extra!! They cost $65 local. Told no. Had service one elsewhere. -left frt axle -will call when part in, ie 7/11. No one has notified me that part in. Emailed service tech, no reply. called for 3 days service tech line busy. Service phone line no one answers. Gave up. Arrived at noon for a 12:30 appointment to have oil changed. Was told I had to wait an hour and a half. I guess the appointment system needs a little tweaking. I was asked if they could change transmission fluid while the car was in the shop; said it would only take a few minutes. Another hour. I left the service center about 3:30.
Joe was the best, very open and understanding of what my wife was looking for in a particular vehicle, that she had her eye on. Joe took us on a test drive, while explaining some of the features, my wife became very comfortable in her questions being responded to in a very honest way. The entire process was very good, all the way thru, when she settled on purchasing the car she had her eye on, she was very very pleased. Thanks Joe and the Greensboro Honda team.
