I've been here twice . Once for my dog Molly and second time with a stray we found . Both times the entire staff showed me so much compassion and patience. I really appreciated it during such a stressful time. I honestly can't recommend it enough and really trust the doctors and staff here. People mention it might be expensive but they don't push anything on you . They give you options and let you make the best decision. Sometimes when I'm driving long distance, I put cruise on and just Coast. I like to Coast all over the Gulf Coast but let's face it, I-10 isn't the best highway for cruise. But it is a good hwy for this vet. This is a very expensive vet, but it's an emergency vet so it makes sense. They do an excellent job and if money is no object and it's an emergency, then this is your go-to place. You really seemed to care for the well being of Horus, during the consultation, your doctor on call really listened to what we had to say as far as his symptoms. we were explained thoroughly about his condition and were given our options as for his recovery. We were very appreciative that we were told upon his release that we would be getting a refund, since this was an out of pocket expense. It has been five days since his procedure, Horus seems to be recovering well. Your best to address getting him back to being healthy.

This place gets a resounding YES from my family. My sons bird was sick and they took great care of him and I feel like they went above and beyond to make sure he got well and stayed that way. Amazing, caring staff. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Best emergency and specialty care hospital in Houston and surrounding area. The doctor truly cares about my pet's health and well-being. They are a very busy clinic though because they are so good. Long wait times to be able to get your pet in for surgery so do not wait to take action if your pet is showing any pain or has injuries.

Awesome bedside manner to pets. Very welcoming and warm. Everything from the waiting area, snacks, restrooms, medical team, front desk staff, parking, bedside manner, it was all amazing. They gave us an estimate to see if we wished to proceed after the initial exam- making it more relaxing while we waited because we knew what the bill would be. I appreciate all the compassion that the staff showed me. I hate how expensive GCVS is. I would have taken more chances if surgery wouldn't have been so expensive (between 7k-9200) I appreciated the through exam and compassion from staff as they were really helpful and not judgmental. In the end, I had to let my Piper go to sleep. The prognosis of her ever walking again was not good (spinal cord injury) and being a very active dog, I cannot let her live the way as it is.
