They treated my cat for a fractured leg. Dr. Hudson is awesome. He was friendly and professional. They took very good pre-op and post-op care of my cat. It was a tricky surgery and the follow up was thorough. I trust Dr. Hudson. It was expensive but worth it. The normal vet and other emergency clinic wasn't able to do this specialized surgery. They saved his leg. Thank you GC!

Business response:

Queen, Thank you for your feedback! We completely agree that compassion and communication are absolutely vital to any hospital experience - especially in an emergency situation. We value that kind of information as we continuously learn, grow, and work to improve every aspect of our hospital experience, and we would really appreciate the opportunity to discuss you visit in more detail. It is essential to our leadership team to be able to identify areas in need of improvement, and we hope you would be willing to share you... read more

My Sophie came in critical condition from a heatstroke because of someone else's negligence. When I brought her to them she was barely breathing and had a seizure upon arrival . She is a French bulldog so they are very delicate from heat exposure. For the next 9 days it was a complete roller coaster of ups and downs not knowing if she would survive . I was updated every morning and evening on her condition and when I couldn't see her videos were sent so I could see her progress . I think Dr. Rodriguez sent these . Dr. Garci... read more

Francy is a rescue with a myriad of health issues. She has 2 specialists at GCVS. The care that she has received from both of them is superlative. Their interaction with me has been kind, informative and respectful. In addition to the care Francy has received, I value them for providing comprehensive details of my dog's conditions and "holding my hand".

Regardless of where you live in the country, you will never find a team as caring and dedicated as the sports medicine team lead by Dr. Evanow at Gulf Coast. I have been blown away by the level of individualized care and the utter dedication of this team. We drove from Dallas to meet with Dr. Evanow and it was absolutely worth every minute to experience the level of care offered by her and her team. Not only do they have some of the most cutting edge technology available in the industry, they are willing and able to accurate... read more

If i felt the person was able and willing to pay, I would recommend GCVS to others. GCVS service was prompt, and employees were caring and knowledgeable . I wish the cost weren't so high, but I understand that it must be.

I have never been to a place where every single staff member was amazing! Everyone was so helpful and kept me updated the entire 4 days my cat (Moon), was in the ER and ICU. More specifically, Dr Thomsen was the first doc to realize the emergency and immediately went to work. Dr McDonald took over care and both were absolutely wonderful in all aspects of care. They called and texted me several times per day to give me updates. It's so stressful not knowing what's going to happen, but they reassured and updated me for every c... read more

Unfortunately we have had to visit here a lot, but the staff is always very kind and compassionate and I always leave with the sense that they want what is best for my cats. On top of that, they have expert care for the trickier situations we have brought in and the results of that care are often better than our expectations. They call to keep us updated at all hours. I really appreciate the calls. Heads up, this care is not cheap, but it is definitely worth it.

Staff is so friendly and easy to work with. The facility and technologies are really nice. I really appreciated when I informed staff of our leash reactive dog that staff was super accommodating and not bothered by it.

Dr. Minino has spent an ideal amount of time working with our regular vet from the original referral to him for her Cushing diagnosis to continual contact with Dr. Thornberg of Bayside Animal Hospital in Kemah trying to regulate her medicine. Specialize in each category of veterinary medicine. Other than Dr. Minino, Dr. Whitney handled Windy's luxatilng patella 12 years ago.
