We are a military family living overseas when we had roof damage from a hurricane. The roof was replaced by Guy Roofing in Feb 2019. We are currently selling our home and the inspector found 2 shingles that slipped and were not installed properly. When I called to inquire about fixing the workmanship I was told the warranty had expired (in February, btw) and they do not work in our area anymore anyway. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. It is important to deal with others fairly something Guy Roofing doesn't understand.

My wife and I hired Guy Roofing Inc to fix our roof. They did terrible work, there were constant miscommunications, they backed out of 2 contracts, and we had to have someone else fix the problem. They do not value customers. They lied about what happened so they wouldn’t have to refund our money. Do not hire them. If you are already using them, record everything and make them put every single thing in writing or they will lie and say you are lying.

We have been dealing with this co. for 3 1/2 yrs. It started when about 6 or 7 guys that couldn’t or wouldn’t speak English ,none of them had identification to show they were from Guy Roofing ,who were dropped off from a white van carrying suit cases (that held tools). They got started and it started to rain needless to say there was a leak that came through to the inside ceiling . This is going to be a long rant about Guy Roofing Inc., but hopefully it will save someone some time, money, and further damage to their home. TL:DR; I paid them $6199.00 (which we had to finance) for roof repairs that 1. were not needed (we actually needed a roof replacement), 2. look terrible and have ongoing issues, and 3. had to be completely redone by someone else. They need to change their receptionist. Those ladies have no clue on the questions to ask when booking an appointment. I call and the lady asked me for my availability, I gave her my hours and the she asked “what about your husband’s “ I said there is no husband in this house. How can they just assume things, if they need someone over the age of 18 then that is the question to ask. I also felt they are not giving priority to the issue of a leaking roof,. Chose Guy roofing because they were highly recommended even though I was told they were expensive. Crew arrived the first day at 7:00 am and worked hard and effectively I thought. There were a few issues with the crew playing loud music and yelling during lunch but they didn’t really bother me. They did not finish on the first day even though I was told repeatedly it was a one day job. So I assumed they would arrive the second day around 7 to finish. They did not show up until 1:00 pm.
