I have never done a review on a company I've worked for before, whether it be good or bad. My mentality was always "let the next one figure it out for themselves." I can't do that this time. I had a sales rep out, they said they were a preferred vendor for my insurance company, turned out no. I advised them of two areas of concern that I would need assistance with and in the end they wanted me to do the leg work. Just an fyi I am not a roofer so I should not have to do leg work on code (in our area you have to put a shingle on rated for 130 mph, provide the ins co with that and they ok the proper shingle) or type of shingle that is being replaced (I had a type on there no longer made and was involved in a lawsui... read more

They replaced my roof dueto hail damage in 2011. No complaints till 2017 when 3 shingles came off. Workmanship warranty was passed do they charged me 600.00 to repair this small place on the roof plus 600.00 for a new gutter replacement. They had not stalled my original gutters. 3 weeks ago noticed shingles were coming loose in the same location. I called them but they said there was no warranty on repairs. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, with the hell they put me through the last few weeks, I can't see how they still in business. Not one bump but bumps in the work, lack of communication and unconcern associates, they assume someone finished the work. put on roof, tore roof off, came to fix ceiling to bad of a job, request painting, painter shows up without calling, not a good day. Guy Roofing does not honor their workmanship guarantees and have illegal/ unregistered immigrants working on their installation crews. I had Guy Roofing replace my beachfront roof last October 1998 in Wrightsville Beach. The entire crew was from Mexico and did not speak english. I asked for the best roof possible to be installed. I paid for Duration Platinum to sustain 130 mile an hour winds. they give u a estimate for ,4200.00 then come back and tell me they mad some error s in the estimate 6500.00 that a huge error got the job done for 3500.00

guy roofing came to my house around 3 years ago and put a new roof on my house. I was finding old roofing nails all around my house for over a month. they backed their trailer through my front yard up to my door and crushed my stone wall that is around my flower bed and left huge ruts in my front yard. Last but not least they left my old dish network dish hanging off the said of my house which is still hanging and has now ripped my gutter almost completely off. I worked here and they are not about their employees. Instead of hearing that their supervisor is dozing off while he is driving, they choose to negate that and will be 100 percent at fault when he kills someone driving. I was told to do one thing on a job then turned around and belittled me for doing it. Turned everything in the way I was TOLD TO DO IT, and they still CHARGED ME OVER 100 dollars for shirts I didn’t even wear. This place is not managed well and they are not out for your best interest. Stay away!!!!

Had our roof fixed after Florence ruined our it. The men who came out to removed the old shingles to put on the new ones haphazardly threw off all the old supplies sending shingles & nails all over my property & ripping window screens & sending nails into areas like my drive way, flowerbed, on my air conditioner, etc Without asking they entered my backyard & yanked the drive in door enough to rip the hinges from the wooden plank.
