This is going to be a long rant about Guy Roofing Inc., but hopefully it will save someone some time, money, and further damage to their home. TL:DR; I paid them $6199.00 (which we had to finance) for roof repairs that 1. were not needed (we actually needed a roof replacement), 2. look terrible and have ongoing issues, and 3. had to be completely redone by someone else. They need to change their receptionist. Those ladies have no clue on the questions to ask when booking an appointment. I call and the lady asked me for my availability, I gave her my hours and the she asked “what about your husband’s “ I said there is no husband in this house. How can they just assume things, if they need someone over the age of 18 then that is the question to ask. I also felt they are not giving priority to the issue of a leaking roof,. Chose Guy roofing because they were highly recommended even though I was told they were expensive. Crew arrived the first day at 7:00 am and worked hard and effectively I thought. There were a few issues with the crew playing loud music and yelling during lunch but they didn’t really bother me. They did not finish on the first day even though I was told repeatedly it was a one day job. So I assumed they would arrive the second day around 7 to finish. They did not show up until 1:00 pm. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. Terrible customer service and labor. They still have not fixed a room that was damaged from the leaky roof they put on my house. I would never recommend them even to my worst enemy.

The guys came to install our new roof while we were on vacation. We have cameras installed around our house & were peeking in on them every once in awhile to check on the progress of the installation when we caught one of the guys taking a piss in our backyard. (It makes me wonder if they all did this & we just caught one?) This was disappointing & unprofessional. I called & texted to complain and nobody even bothered to get back to me. So, my new name for this business is Guy Pissing in Your Yard Roofing.

I had Guy Roofing come out and give an estimate for a roof leak.....very professional and thorough, gave a price of $2500 for a 10'x10' patch that needed to be replaced and 3 vent boots also needed replacing......thank God a had another company come out and look at my roof, they did it for $650. Also Guy Roofing replaced my roof 14 yrs ago, so I also question their workmanship, and their willingness to stand behind their product. Repeat business meant nothing. SHOP AROUND BEFORE HAVING THEM DO THE JOB!!!

Guy Roofing employee like a storm hit and ran into my truck while texting and driving. He didn’t stop until chased down to their next roofing job. HWY patrol found him at fault. His insurance coverage wasn’t able to pay for my truck. Now I pay my own deductible and get my insurance to pay for it. Please Guy Roofing pay my deductible... they refused.
