Fix the elevator Only one elevator was working. Same thing when I came 2 years ago. Not enough for so many rooms. Only 2 ice machines were working and with the elevator situation was hard to get. Beds were nice. Room very small. Ok for 2 but with 3 made it a little tight.

We especially liked that the hotel was within walking distance to public transportation, times square, restaurants, and other NYC points of interest. We did NOT like that the hotel had only one working elevator for 32 floors and had to wait at least 30 minutes to get on. Calling the front desk for this matter was of no use. Room key had to be reprogrammed as it deactivated and that was a hassle having to wait for the elevator, only to find out key doesn't work, go back down (WAIT), and then wait again to go up to the room. I... read more

Overall, we had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms are small than your typical hotel, which is understandable given it is in New York. The only real negative thing was that one elevator was not running and the second one was broken. We were on the 19th floor and we are young and healthy so it wasn't a big deal for us, but we did see older visitors or people with disabilities having to wait for 40 min for the elevator to get to their rooms ...

Ran into some trouble at check in. My wife was the one staying but the reservation was in my name. This has never been an issue before but when she tried to check in she was told that I would have to call the front desk to confirm. Easier said than done, as I had to call internationally from Germany. I was never able to get through to the front desk but was told by guest services to call my wife and have her give the phone tothe check in desk attendant. Well, when she did this, he refused to take the phone. Any time my wife ... read more

Just ok The room was larger than expected and clean. The service was just ok… definitely not over and above, and frustrating at times. The service desk associate was nice, but everything took a very long time. The elevators did not both work, so there were loooong lines for the elevator that did work, which stopped at every floor for no reason making our trip to and from the 28th floor unreasonably long. When the elevators did finally come, they were so packed with guests that we often couldn’t get on, and we had to deal wit... read more
