I took my significant other for a romantic birthday dinner. I had been to haven before and enjoyed my first experience. However, I made reservation this time and we were sat at a tiny table from which we could touch two other tables without full extending our arms. Our waiter spoke so softly we could not hear him and often had to repeat ourselves due to the noise that was around us. The food was good but not enough to discount the lack of ambiance. I was so disappointed I couldn’t enjoy dinner.
A great looking place with see and be seen people and good service. Alas, the food has always fallen short of what is needed to make this a great place.
When two of my dining companions complained that the salmon was dry to two members of management, the response was, "I'll tell Chef." That was it. There was not even an offer of a cup of coffee as compensation for an inferior meal. Won't go back.

Our server was... read more

Service was superb; however the quality of the food was not what we expect from this one of our favorite restaurants.
Haven is a noisy place. A bit too 'trendy' for me. The menu is interesting but trying too hard. Could use a few more vegetarian options and few items that are so dressed up.
Had a great Sunday brunch here a month or so ago and put it high on the list for Sunday's. This trip however was very different. Our Waiter was borrowed and did not know much about the offerings and came by only occasionally. Food was not brought out together but seemed to come when the kitchen could catch-up - and the kitchen seemed more intrusive in the atmosphere. Sausage was under-cooked but the french toast and frittata were still good. It was good enought the first time that we will go back but there are several option... read more
Food is good, but waaaayyy overpriced. I wouldn't come here again unless they either improve their dishes or lower their prices.
