I'm told that my 2012 Rogue needs a repair done immediately. Under recommendations RECOMMEND AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR AND EVACUATE AND RECHARGE $1348.75. While at the dealer my wife was told this is not covered under warranty. This vehicle is not even three years old! Bill called me and told me just the opposite-the repair is covered under warranty however there's a $50 deductible. What is going on with this dealer?
George Margelos is a piece of work. I'd tried resolving an issue regarding his subordinates behavior both today and also one week ago to no avail. I contacted a few dealerships for information on a 2013 Nissan Rogue. I was given fair pricing from each dealership and the features and pricing was within several hundred dollars of each other. I interacted mostly with Jacob Burns. I felt that he was snide in all of his emails. He was also rude and overly aggressive. He told me I wouldn't get the price another dealer gave me and that it would be missing features. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I stopped in to look at/buy a nissan altima. The sales person took so long to get a car for me to test drive, I left. Then I went the internet route. Found great prices online. Only to find out that I don't qualify for those prices because I am not a recent college graduate or military and was not going to finance my purchase and was going to pay cash. I should not be penalized $2000 on the cost of a car for those reasons.
This review is strictly based on me getting my 1999 Nissan Maxima serviced at Herb Gordon Nissan. Never again will I take my car there to be serviced. The prices are marked up 150%. I took my car to the Dealer because it wouldn't start, they had to tow my car to the dealership and reprogram my key and replace a wire and charged me $663.00. Absolute highway robbery at it's best. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. My experience has been nothing but awful. The special finance person, Mary, is probably one of the most rude people I have every dealt with. I was old one thing at the beginning and something different after I purchased my car. I am being harassed about transferring my license to Maryland license. I was never told that it was a requirement. I feel like I was treated poorly an unfairly because I didn't have pristine credit.
I had a recall on my vehicle, so took it to Herb Gordon and was told it was non-repairable, so 2 or 3 weeks later emptied the car of personal belongings, took the personal tags off, and discontinued insurance. Seven weeks later, I was suddenly told it was going to be repaired. I have had a HORRIBLE experience with Herb Gordon Nissan. I did not list any specific names of employees because I have dealt with so many. I just moved to the area and needed to find a Nissan dealer so that I could get maintenance done on my 370z. The first time the 370z was in they wanted to do a 20k mile maintenance inspection. I purchased a used Honda from this dealership and have had nothing but problems with it since. It had a bad clutch, bad clutch master cylinder, bad transmission, bent and wrong size rims, and an illegal exhaust (wouldn't even pass VA emissions). I should've noticed the exhaust before purchasing, but the rest has all had to be repaired at the expense of my time and my money. I only purchased the car about 2 months ago.
