Dr Ashamalla is amazing! She listened to all of my questions, had patience with me and was professional as they come! As a new pet owner I have a LOT of questions but she never made me feel like my concerns were not valid. The hospital is nicer then almost any " human hospital" I have seen. All of the veterinarians at Hinsdale animal Hospital are wonderful. The staff is always so welcoming and caring. Dr. Suchy is top-notch.

I took my dog to Hinsdale Animal Hospital to see Dr Joyce Ashamalla and had the best experience. I have been to multiple vets over the past 5 years and I am so happy to have finally found the best place to trust with my dog. Starting with checking in and out- they take all necessary precautions to ensure safety during Covid. They came to pick up my dog from the parking lot and brought her back to me. Hinsdale Animal Hospital and Dr. Kirsten Plomin are as good as it gets! Dr. Plomin is the best vet. I have had pets for more than 50 years and no one has cared as much as Dr. Plomin. I had no idea my cat Simba (AKA seriously the most amazing cat ever) had a heart condition. Not only did she diagnose this condition she helped me enroll him in a University of Illinois a cat cardiology program. I never would have known this program exists without Dr. Plomin. Hinsdale Animal Hospital always exceeds my expectations!

I can't thank the HAH team enough for saving my 2.5yr old goldendoodle. In a matter of days, he stopped eating and drinking and lost significant weight! We ended up doing the surgery on the day that his normal vet, Dr. Ashmalla, was off so Dr. Plomin performed the surgery. I never met her before so of course I was little nervous because it wasn't his normal vet BUT Dr Ashmalla, on her day off, took my phone calls and texts and talked me through play by play what is going to happen. It was good but they kept calling my dog a her instead of him and the kept calling him fluff instead of fluffy are you guys do go there because it's amazing place for daycare and stuff like that and your dog could be with other dogs or your cat can be with other cats or like your animal can be with any other that can animal my dog had fun with his best friend now it's only been there for one day and had fun

Hinsdale Animal Hospital is THE best place to take your pet. They take the time to be with you and your animal and explain everything in a way that you understand. ALL of the staff are beyond compassionate and understanding, especially Kristen who is a vet tech. The way the staff treats my dogs and cats is so comforting and makes everything so much easier, because we ALL know the anxiety animals AND their people feel at the vet. I would recommend to anyone! Keep doing great work :)
