As foster parents for a dog rescue and the parents of three of our own scruffy mutts, we spend a lot of time at animal hospitals. We started going to Hinsdale Animal Hospital about four years ago and have been ecstatic with our experience there. The staff is friendly, responsive and they love animals. The vets are amazing and care about their patients. There have been many times when I had a sick dog within 30-45 minutes of closing and they more concerned about helping me and the dog than making sure they got out on time. ... read more

I cannot recommend this hospital enough. They have cared for dogs for many years and even saved my Pomeranians life at one time. Recently they helped with the neutering two feral cats in our neighborhood. They even gave the homeless cats several addition services at no charge. They are very customer service orientated and they love our animals as much as we do. I was always impressed that they remembered my dogs by name when we came in.

I really like it here. Dr. Zgrabik is great. Highly recommend seeing him. This is my first dog on my own so I'm kind of a nervous new mom. The dog sneezes twice and I immediately think something is wrong. When there was an actual issue, Dr. Zgrabik saved my dog's life. My poor pup contracted an unknown internal infection that drove his white blood cell count to nearly nothing. He gave me strong antibiotics and lots of instructions with what to do and look out for. Hinsdale Animal Hospital has been great. They take such good care of our pup! The front desk is very nice. The doctors explain everything thoroughly. We've worked mainly with Dr. Pullman (not sure if the spelling is correct). She has been so great!

I have to say this is the best animal hospital staff I have ever dealt with. From answering the phone to dealing with my dog. I took Wrigley, a rescue, to HAH to be spayed and it was such a great experience, She got up the next day like nothing was wrong. To me that shows a great vet did some great work. The techs all were very professional and helpful. Thanks for making this a good rescue experience.

My dog and cats have received kind, thoughtful treatment from the staff here. Whenever there might be a potentially expensive procedure, the vets outlined every detail and would let me decide upon alternatives if they were available. When my 17-year-old cat, a longtime patient, passed away, I received a sympathy card in which every single vet and staff member wrote a lovely note. I have only the best to say about Hinsdale Animal Hospital.

While there are a couple of negative reviews I would like to counter and say my experience over the past two years were great. I found Dr. Ashamalla to be a kind, caring doctor. My most recent experience was traumatic. My dog was diagnosed with Autoimmune Anemia. Only 50% of dogs who get this disease survive. I spent 3 1/2 days trying to get her over the hump but in the end I knew it wasn't right to have Sadie suffer. During that time the staff let me visit, hold her, and gave her the best of care. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. All of the vets are competent, loving, and just plain old wonderful. Their pricing is beyond reasonable and they never try to "add on" services. Thank you Hinsdale Animal Hospital!! You guys are the best
