Poor experience It does the job, meaning I can eventually print on a piece of paper. The amount of effort it takes to get to that point I think justifies 2 stars. Outdated manual, useless website from mid 90s give you no guidance whatsoever on how to operate this thing over wifi. The only thing that works for me most of the time is direct wifi, when I connect my mac to the printer's wifi which is very inconvenient. Wi Fi setup is garbage. The setup wizard cannot find the printer when connected with a USB cable, although printing can be done with the cable. The online video relates to an entirely different printer which has a different menu. The written instruction are simple pictures which tell you nothing.
I was excited to get this printer. Shortly after using it the excitement went away. You get what you paid for is pretty accurate with this item. The printing is not good.

The brothers are a money pit with ink. After discovering the Epson eco tank, I will never buy anything else.
It stopped printing after four months for no obvious reason. Now I have to figure out how to access the Brother warranty (which looks difficult and prohibitive from my location) or just be out the $150 plus $80 for extra toner. Would not buy this brand again.

So far not good regarding getting it set up for wireless printing. I’m going to try Brother support. Way to complicated setup.
