Heavy printer Too big for my home office. Very heavy.
Awful for printing labels I go through laser printers every year or so. It is so frustrating they are made to practically be disposable. And you can almost buy a new one for what it costs to buy official cartridges. and if you don't buy official cartridges the drum breaks or something goes wrong with the printer. UGH! Cannot Reset Toner I have printer HL-L3210CW. All of my previous Brother Printers I was always able to reset Toner Cartridges. This one I cannot. The printer says its out of toner when there is about 1/2 remaining and you HAVE to buy another cartridge. I would never buy again. I would never recommend. Not photo quality A key reason I purchased this was for the positive reviews about the quality of photo prints. Frankly it's terrible. Look elsewhere if that's what you want. Glossy photo paper doesn't help at all, and I'd argue it came out even worse. The images are heavily pixellated and low res. And yes, I went into the advanced settings to adjust for the best quality. This printer comes with warnings... but not from Brother There are several things one needs to know before buying this printer. Yes, it puts out a good product. Yes, it also comes with headaches. After 3 weeks of frustration, and several hours with tech support, I finally gave up on the wireless, moved everything in the office, and hooked it up directly via USB. Not What I Expected I have to admit that part of the problem with this printer and me was me. I have had inkjet for years and frustrated that I never felt like I was getting my monies worth with the ink, so I was convinced that Laser was the way to go. Not totally discounting it yet, but this is not the printer for me or you if you want to print labels on a regular basis or if you are concerned with the printer printing the color you see on your monitor. I don’t think this is the printer you want! I have to return it after about 10 days. It stopped working. Amazon replaced it. The new one worked well until I changed the yellow cartridge for the first time. Brothers customer service was not wonderful. I’ve called four times so far. As expected, they keep running me through the same tests, and “gosh golly”, we keep coming up with the same results. I’ve decided to stop calling.
Terrible Product Printer had poor print quality a few short weeks after purchase. Replaced toner cartridges, to no avail. Avoid.
WiFi printing doesn’t complete on at least half of my attempts So many times we try to print and it doesn’t print. Tried to print a large medical file and it just kept starting over, would print about 40 pages then start the print job again. Wasted almost 300 sheets of paper and ink
