Tonner not compatible Don’t buy the bundle the tonner they send is not compatible with the printer
If you are a Mac owner, DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER !!! Every other day, and sometimes the same day, my Mac and this printer stop communicating. So I have to go to the Brother Support page, re-download and reinstall the drivers again just to be able to print a couple of pages. I have to do this as many as TEN times a week. Total trash.
Horrible and unacceptable print quality This is the WORST colored laser printer ever. The print quality is unacceptable. It’s cheap for a reason!
DOA after 1 1/2 yrs 10 pages per day Bought this august of 2018. Print about 10 pages pet month - died today march 2020. A year and one half of very light use. What an expensive piece of junk. Don’t buy this!
Notorious for Deep Sleep mode which keeps you from printing This is the worst printer purchase I’ve ever made! The printer constantly goes into deep sleep mode and will NOT wake up to print! I’ve tried everything to fix it and nothing works. It also won’t print if the paper tray is full and constantly says “reload paper”. I’ve never been so disappointed in spending almost $200. Wish I could have my Money back on this purchase
Does not pick up paper from Tray The printer if I am LUCKY will print 3 pages before it gives an out of paper error message. Usually removing the tray and removing paper and fanning it will then allow it to print a page or two more. I have tried 20 24 and 28 lb paper from various manufacturers with same result. Very dissapointed.
Mi segunda devolución de esta impresora! Terrible no se imaginan lo que sufrí con esta impresora! He hecho dos devoluciones de esta misma impresora! La primera vez que la pedí me salían rayas en mi impresión, ok, la devolví, le pedí a amazon que me enviara otra de las mismas porque pensé que quizás era un defecto, pero cuando me llego la segunda resulta que no solo imprimía las rayas sino que también el toner amarillo se regaba en las imágenes! Disappointment If colors are important for you then stay away from this printer. Even Photoshop can not make it print color right. It looks like they dropped the ball with profile and you will be in need of manual corrections all the time. Also jamming issues with thick media and terrible unjamming procedure... I sent mine back after just few hours.
Owned for less than 30 days and print quality is poor Black lines printing on entire paper. Only have owned this brand new printer for less than 4 weeks.
