I wish I could give them zero stars my husband and I went in today for a new bed frame and we found things we loved and when I mean we were stalked by a sales associate I mean stalked. We couldn't even go to another show room without this lady creeping in the back. It was so uncomfortable that e even left without making a purchase or asking any questions. Let's start from the beginning. We fell in love with a red leather couch. In November of 2013 We spent $2000 on just the sofa even though it was over our budget because we loved it so much. When it was delivered though, the middle leg was crooked. We had bought the insurance, so they said they would replace it. I wish I could give them no stars. I'm an early-20 year old female and I went looking for furniture for my parents since they are renovating their house. When I went into the store there was a salesclerk lounging on a couch who did not greet me or get up to offer any assistance. Walked around for an hour before someone even noticed me and asked if I need help. Finally got the 2 items I wanted ordered and paid for only to find out after it was paid that its a 6 week wait. They offer free delivery for my hassle. Fine, whatever. After 6 weeks I get another call saying its another 6 weeks because of blah blah blah -- please just cancel my order. I will go else where!
We found a mattress we really loved and purchased and we were told us that we would have it by next week. Well long story short they showed up for delivery with only the box spring...no mattress. Later on that day they called explaining why there was no mattress. Apparently they had to "reorder" it and we would possibly be in stock in a week. So here is to another long week of sleeping on a old mattress after paying a couple grand for a new one.
DEAR YELPERS. I am so upset and very disappointed in HomeWorld Pearlridge today! Went to look at lanai furniture and was not greeted by anyone (my friend was with me, too, and no one greeted her either even when we were in different areas of the store. I said "hi" to a salesman when I walked by, and he did say hi back but never asked if he could help me find anything. History: A year ago I purchased a leather sofa, chair, and two bar stools for $1200 which I thought was a great price. My problems began during delivery and my inspection of the furnitures - the leather sofa back cushions were crushed, the leather chair had imperfections, and one of the barstools was inoperative. HW sent a repairman for the sofa and replaced the chair and barstools. The defects were so noticeable that I wondered why HW would deliver flawed furniture to their customers. update: I went to pick up my chair the next day. This time they seemed more accomodating. Had my chair in my vehicle in less than 10 minutes. Still: would've appreciated the heads-up that it could take "a while" to "pull" furniture and you need to call ahead ---- and also: that they can't "pull" furniture when it's close to closing time. In my book if you say that you are open for business until 5pm and someone arrives at 4:50 (or even 5pm on the dot) you should serve them ----- either that or make it CLEAR to your custo... read more
I ordered a couch from here in mid April. The sales rep told me it was on back order and would be two weeks before they could ship it. I called 2 times in May ( every two weeks) only to be lead on that it was on the way. It is now the middle of June and he won't even return my phone calls. I will never shop here again.
