start being honest instead of lying to customers

Business response:

Pam. I need to ask you to enlighten me please as to what this is all about. I have no record of you being in the dealership in either Sales or Service. Your statement is a bit vague and i would like to understand. Please call me at 724-482-5912, or palmiero@gmail.com. Thank you. Jon

I was scheduled for a state inspection at 2 pm. I went asking what was taking so long at 3:45. 2 hours is way to long for a inspection!

Business response:

Debbie. I am very sorry that it took so long. We had a great deal of walk-ins today and were not staffed properly for it. We sincerely apologize that it took longer than it should have.

HORRIBLE experiences all around at this joke of a dealership. Bought a CRV 3 years ago and it is having known transmission issues with the torque converter and they keep having me bring it in and claim it’s not acting up for them (I put 19k miles on the vehicle in the short 3 years of owning it). The joke of a service manager literally sent a mechanic home to their personal residence with my vehicle without my authorization! When my husband came to pick up the car it had no gas (went in with full tank) 182 miles on it and th... read more

Business response:

Kayla. I do truly apologize that we were unable to get the vehicle to act up while in our care. The technician who was working on it is a Honda Master tech and was unable to get the issue to replicate. Our Service Manager who you spoke to, Scott McClellan, did tell you that we would be driving the vehicle off-premise to diagnose. We cannot successfully diagnose issues in many or most cases without driving them. I spoke to him again this morning and he remembers the conversation well. I’m sorry that you are so dissatis... read more

I was treated very poorly by the service department, managers, and even the owner, Mr. Neff, himself. Instead of going into detail here...I will take my complaint to the better business bureau. I will say we all make mistakes. Own up to them. And correct them. Don’t lie to your customers about what you’ll do to make it up, with no follow through. I Bought a car, recently, from Kelly Cheverolet. Was treated with kindness. And respect. It was night and day from Honda North. Honda North...and Mr. Neff, you should be ashamed.

By actually working with their customers instead of crunching numbers and trying to make a sale. My mother has been there three times now and upon today's trip wasn't even allowed to look at/test drive anything before numbers were crunched. Very disappointing as I been nothing but an huge honda enthusiast, finally convince my mom to at least look at one and can't ever get a test drive. We will take our business elsewhere.

This place is a joke. Their prices are so expensive, and every time that i went there to get standard maintenance done, i got my car back only to find that they only did partial of the work. So i would have to take the car back to them, tell them what they missed/didnt do correctly, and only then did they do the job they were supposed to do. Ive heard of similar things happening to people in the last year. I havent been to Honda North in a few years, and i dont ever intend to.

I unfortunately bought a car there. Bought an extended warranty. I needed a repair, they told me it would be covered. I scheduled my repair they did it & then told me it was not covered under warranty. I could have had it done at my local mechanic for 1/2 the price. They are scammers!

Business response:

Syvil. I am sorry that you were not satisfied with your visit and that your warranty did not cover that particular window repair. If it was a window motor or a window regulator, it would have been covered but in this case, a bolt that was loose was not a covered item. Unfortunately, we do not have any say in what is and is not covered. It is up to the warranty company often depending on the level of warranty that was purchased. Our Service Advisors do not assume that an issue is going to be covered until we call it in ... read more

My husband saved for years and years to purchase his dream car upon retiring from the military. We "thought" Honda North was a reliable dealership but should have known better when the salesperson was so ignorant on the details of the vehicle. He assured us that the car was under warranty as is with modifications and after purchase, would be put in contact with any and all shops/owner that had owned or modified the car. We quickly made contact with the shop who referred us back to the dealer for previous owner info. We were ... read more

Business response:

Mrs. Treiber, I am sorry for your dissatisfaction with your purchase. It is always our goal for you, and every customer, to be completely satisfied with both the service and the vehicle that they receive from our dealership. In this case, the Subaru WRX STi that you purchased was in excellent shape at the time of purchase and the aftermarket modifications made by the previous customer are Cobb upgrades. Cobb is a very reputable name in Subaru performance upgrades; the parts alone were over $4000 before installation. I sp... read more

I've been looking for a specific car / color combo and found it at Honda North. The salesman Kevin backed the car into a pole on their lot after my first test drive, denting the rear quarter panel. They wouldn't budge on price but agreed to fix the damage to "like new condition" if I bought it. He said they wanted to order a specific dent puller and if they couldn't fix it right they'd take it to a professional body shop. I agreed and brought the car back a few weeks later for the scheduled appointment. They had it three wee... read more
