A friend and I bopped in here after an event we'd attended after seeing other patrons with the food bag. Located on the corner of Upshur and Georgia Ave in Petworth, it's super easy to spot! This was satisfying, but not so delicious you get delirious/ go in2 a food-induced coma after. The smaller cuts/pieces, in a 8 piece bucket, tended to taste better. It's probably the ratio of crispy skin to meat. The pies were ok, a whole bunch of liquid apple jelly surrounding one big glob of apple. The fries didn't amaze. I did notice the chicken is not too greasy. This def is better than any fast food fried chicken. Honeymoon deserves a once in a while visit.

The food is banging....we ordered takeout cause who wants to go out in the cold. lol. The dood was hot, and the potato wedges kick butt!! We've dined in before and the atmosphere is so fun and welcoming. The stiff were kind and helpful. Def worth checking out!

Finally got a chance to try Honeymoon chicken and got the 8 piece bucket which came with four bread rolls. I also got a mac cheese and the potato wedges . The chicken was quite average and it's a good portion. The mac and cheese was really didn't taste that good too me. The rolls were good..I just wish the rolls were a bit softer. The customer service was outstanding. But overall this place was ok at best I hate to say it but I was a bit disappointed .

Wow just wow. Let's first talk about the honey dust on the chicken. Subtle but so delish. I appreciate the light crust that keeps a consistent crunch around the whole piece of chicken. The rolls alone changed my life. I will be coming here for my actual honeymoon and recommend you do the same. Or just ln a random Tuesday.

Whew chile! Where do I begin? Let's start with the rolls *drool emoji* I made a mistake & only got 1 roll & wish I would've gotten the pack. The chicken was juicy, not greasy & crunchy. I'm not really a fried food gal but this checked off all my boxes for good food. The sides were phenomenal, got the Mac and cheese and the Brussels.
