We ordered catering for a work function. Cauliflower side was the best thing. Rolls were good. Chicken could use more seasoning.

Absolutely delicious! The kale buraata salad, Parmesan wings, and hot honeymoon honeymoon friend chicken are worth a return trip. The restaurant is pretty small, so it was hard to fit our party of six at dinnertime so plan accordingly. The mango hot honey margs here are our favorite.
We're in town for the week from Texas. Being from the south I'm immediately skeptical of fried chicken not native to home. Although the food was absolutely phenomenal, the chicken, brussel sprouts, fried pie, mashed potatoes were all phenomenal. The people behind the bar were extremely fast and willing to help, we also were seated very quickly upon our arrival. The whole experience was a 10/10.

The service was great and the food was amazing. Hands down the best chicken I have ever had! The drinks are good as well and the price isn't too expensive. Definitely recommend trying it!
Thank you, Honeymoon Chicken, for your prompt response. I've updated my review accordingly.

This is a no brainer. Easily 5/5 stars for this place. I have never heard of a fried chicken place receiving a Michelin Bib so I definitely had to try it out. This place is a bit small and it was surprisingly packed for a Sunday Afternoon but that didn't deter me at all. We waited about half an hour before being sat, they do have tables outside if you want a shorter wait but I felt the experience is best experienced indoors where the birds aren't harassing you when you're eating juicy, delicious chicken. Besides the retro t... read more
Was visiting DC and looked on Yelp to see if there was a good fried chicken place nearby and happy I found Honeymoon Chicken. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the place looked very clean and the food was delicious. The fried chicken was the best I had while in DC. It was amazing! The honey butter rolls were my second favorite and the potato wedges were amazing. Deducting a star for the Mac and cheese as it was not good at all, lacked flavor and the cheese sauce was super watery. Otherwise, would definitely return ... read more
