The service was really quick. I saw an Instagram post about it receiving the Bib Gourmand award and have wanted to try it since. I got the chicken in their signature hot honey sauce- it was okay, the hot honey isn't really hot? And I envisioned crispy chicken to be crispier than it was. The rolls were good, and their potato wedges were decent.
The place to satisfy my late night cravings. Love the hot honey sandwich, rolls, and mac and cheese. Perfect with a side of strawberry lemonade!
Decent chicken. The sauce in the Mac and cheese was not very thick and the noodles were fairly mushy, great flavor though. Chicken poutine was our favorite through the cheese was not curds.
This was a pretty cool spot. We were seated as soon as we walked in. I love the option to place your order from the table using a QR code. If you go definitely try the roasted brussel sprouts they were soooo good. The seafood basket was hot and I drizzled it with the hot honey and that was amazing. The Mac and cheese was perfect(not too cheesy). The hot honey butter roll was the perfect combo of sweet and salty. Upon walking in, we were greeted promptly and shown our booth. You can order via a QR code right from your table and I loved that, not having to wait for a waiter to come around. The place was small but charming with booths and a bar area. The food was good would've been better if it actually came out hot and not lukewarm. The drink I had was good. Had to try this as the photos were very appetizing and location is four blocks from my home . Used order pickup and got there moments early ..place is very nice quite fifties retro lived the decor , very clean and appealing . Service was adequate they didn't ignore me and asked was I here for dine in or pick up . The young lady at the counter even provided extra sauce flavors for me to try first timer . Service was really good, the waiters were very attentive to us. The 3pc platter with white meat was pretty underwhelming, the chicken itself was very bland and I could barely taste the dusting on the skin. However it was very crispy, though the white meat was tough. The fries are delicious and the best part of the meal. The hot honey sauce was also very good, but in my opinion you shouldn't have to rely on sauce to carry your fried chicken. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience but I probably won't go again.

WOW, I don't even know where to start! If you want high quality chicken with AMAZING sides, go to Honeymoon Chicken. The only thing I would say to watch out for is they have a lot of spicy options, and on some options have more than one spicy ingredient, so if you want it mild make sure to look at all the ingredients. I was just in DC for vacation and when reviewing places to eat I came across honeymoon chicken. I looked at the pictures and started to drool. Than I am like maybe this is just curated content. So off we went in a lyft from our hotel where our front desk lady said it was great so I already was hyped. It is such a interesting area because it seems residential yet there a lot going on.
