Had to try this as the photos were very appetizing and location is four blocks from my home . Used order pickup and got there moments early ..place is very nice quite fifties retro lived the decor , very clean and appealing . Service was adequate they didn't ignore me and asked was I here for dine in or pick up . The young lady at the counter even provided extra sauce flavors for me to try first timer . Service was really good, the waiters were very attentive to us. The 3pc platter with white meat was pretty underwhelming, the chicken itself was very bland and I could barely taste the dusting on the skin. However it was very crispy, though the white meat was tough. The fries are delicious and the best part of the meal. The hot honey sauce was also very good, but in my opinion you shouldn't have to rely on sauce to carry your fried chicken. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience but I probably won't go again.

WOW, I don't even know where to start! If you want high quality chicken with AMAZING sides, go to Honeymoon Chicken. The only thing I would say to watch out for is they have a lot of spicy options, and on some options have more than one spicy ingredient, so if you want it mild make sure to look at all the ingredients. I was just in DC for vacation and when reviewing places to eat I came across honeymoon chicken. I looked at the pictures and started to drool. Than I am like maybe this is just curated content. So off we went in a lyft from our hotel where our front desk lady said it was great so I already was hyped. It is such a interesting area because it seems residential yet there a lot going on. I happen to run across this place because it was next to a cigar spot I wanted to hit up. I walked in and was able to grab a seat at the bar. Place was crowded and Yelp gave it 4 stars. So I gave it a shot, it didn't disappoint I had the chicken sandwich and a lobster slider.

Amazing lunch! I'm pescatarian so I never considered here before but I am so glad that I stopped in. Lobster sliders, peach hand pies, Brussels sprouts and pineapple strawberry daiquiri! All amazing and the kitchen manager even gave me a to go gift. I'm one happy foodie! Will definitely be back!

We came on a Sunday afternoon. There is a lot of seating inside and outside. You can scan the QR code and start a tab. The food came out very quickly. I got the hot honey dipped chicken sandwich, mac n cheese, seasoned wedge fries, and the hot honey cauliflower. I would totally order the same dishes again. One of the best fried chicken restaurants in DC. After years of hearing people rave about this place, I finally caved and went. I am so sad it took me so long to go. - Lobster rolls were delicious! The bread is covered in a garlic butter and the lobster was plentiful and full of seasoning - The peach burrata salad was light and fresh - The fried chicken was the STAR! Sweet and salty. Crispy and fresh. I was dreaming of this chicken the next say. I will definitely be back.
