I had a chance to try honeymoon chicken spontaneously due to another popular business nearby being sold out. I have seen many social media posts about honeymoon chicken over the past 2 years saying that it was the BEST thing ever. I am afraid posts like that made me have an extremely high expectation for this establishment. I went during lunch hour and it was busy, but not super packed. Visited while in D.C. with my family. It is a small place so be prepared for a little bit of a wait. On nice days you can also enjoy the patio seating. You can order easily by scanning the QR code at the table. My husband and I had the bone in chicken with Mac & Brussels. The kids had tenders and a chicken with wedge fries. I also ordered a John Daly, which was good and strong. I had to keep asking for my Mac which is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. We would definitely dine here again.

Solid food. Friendly staff and easy self service ordering system at each table! I split the meal with a friend. Here's what we got: 3 piece chicken: 8/10. We got the signature hot honey chicken. It was crispy yet moist and paired well with all the sauces. Mac & Cheese: 7/10. Very creamy. Would taste better if some of the cheese was baked on. Honey butter Rolls: 10/10. Soft like a pillow! Came to honeymoon chicken after watching the YouTube video that recommended this place. I'm glad that I was able to place the order online, as that made pick up so much easier. The place was crowded when we came on a Sunday afternoon. I had the hot honey dipped chicken sandwich, which may be the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. It was an explosion of flavors. Came for the chicken, stayed for that mac! The mac and cheese was a standout. Sooo cheesy and flavorful. The fried chicken was pretty good and the buns that come with it were a fave. My boyfriend had chicken sandwich and liked it but said the Gouda was overpowering. Lastly, the strawberry lemonade was very good! Tasted homemade. Overall, it's a fun option if you're in the area.

Food is bomb. But make sure if u order take out they dont mix up your orders, which can happen due to their popularity.

The rolls had me in a chokehold. This place offers great options including carb friendly salads if you're trying to live right lol. Brussels sprouts top tier and chicken ok with hot honey sauce. No complaints. Self seating with fast service was a plus for me. The retro feel of the diner is a nice touch. Outdoor seating great for warm weather.

The chicken was good, but not the best I ever had. The hot honey dip was delicious. The seafood basket was tasty and the rolls with the honey on them were amazing! Brussel sprouts were flavorful. Service was quick, you can order and pay from the qr code on the table. We Sar outside, good people watching, but inside looks like a cute retro diner. Drinks were pretty strong, so that was a nice touch!
