7 out of 10 for Hotel 48Lex good hotel, good location. everything was working well in the room (wi-fi, tv, air conditioning, shower pressure). decent room size, decent breakfast (no hot food though which was a shame). decent fitness facilities that were available 24hrs. only negative point was that i emailed the hotel 3 times before our stay as i wanted to ask them something pretty simple and straight forward about the tv channel in the room (wanted to watch the champions league final). but, no reply on 3 occasions. i even ... read more
Great hotel in a great location
Small hotel offering excellent service. The afternoon free drinks were a very nice touch. The breakfast was good quality and never too busy. Hotel staff were very obliging and happy to sort things out. Hotel rooms were clean but some furniture needed replacing.
Long weekend in New York Lovely hotel in a great place and perfect location to get to everything. Our room was the Central Suite and it had a corner balcony which we wasn't expecting and it was fantastic. My only disappointments were housekeeping who on one dasy hadn't cleaned our suite at all and after being out all day to come back to your room which hadn't yet been cleaned wasn't pleasant. For the price, Hotel 48Lex punches above its weight. Its location is convenient to many attractions, the service was impeccable, and the condition of the hotel exudes luxury. I would definitely stay there again when I'm in NYC.
Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Large for NYC standards
