In the categories above, everything was okay. Overall, this place was a big no. Beat up and outdated furniture in a very small room, water that took 5-10 minutes to heat up, nasty view, and a very Disney-esque atmosphere. Very high priced Motel 6 room.

DISGUSTING!!! Stay at motel 6!! Same thing, but FRACTION of the price, OR the Ritz for LESS, then just go pay parking and enjoy the grass and beach w your kids! OR just go have a drink at this “historic” (RUN DOWN) dump! It’s what WE wish we did! Ask to see a room first to convince yourself, then THANK me!😀 It’s mind-boggling to think people would pay almost $1000 a night and live in DISGUST! Unless they’re all new customers and have NO idea what they get themselves into!
If you enjoy spending money to sleep next to a docking station this is the perfect place for you. 1am they are loading and unloading trucks 10 feet away from my window. You think im kidding? book a room and find out for yourself. This is the room they gave us, next to dumpsters.

Arrived at 1pm, finally got to room at 6:30 pm. Were told we had to sit in room until baggage was delivered. Finally got to dinner at 8:49. Paid for room with view. Got room with parking lot view. Called Expedia and they could not do anything. Called Hilton and they made excuses. Never using Expedia again and will cash out Hilton points and be done.
Had such high hopes. Sewage runoff in Mexico made going in the water risky (signs posted). 1st room in old part of hotel was terrible. Switched 2nd night and room was nice. The whole complex seemed over crowded and developed. A bit hodge podgy. Would stay in La Jolla or dark mar next time in San Diego.

The room is a safety hazard, the floors are so uneven I tripped and luckily I felt on the bed. The bathroom floor entry has a ramp and it’s not a handicap accessible room. My husband fell just walking into the bathroom at night fell backwards on the bed. It’s insane. The beach was amazing! But please place this room out for repair before anyone gets seriously injured.
very historical, yet many fees tied to that and many of the people roaming the property didn't even pay for a room, the “nickle n diming” a bit much- $10 soda water at the pool- one visit was enough
