The Hotel should be shut down and re done without guests having to figure out how to get about and everyone would hae a better frame of mind and don't need To know all that is going on. !!!

There was no hot water in our room on the morning we checked out. Also, there was some confusion about my payment, which I had made ahead of time through a third- party (Expedia). At check-in, I asked to use a gift certificate to pay for my room but was refused. I had been told on the phone ahead of time that this would be allowed. This was disappointing.
We checked in to our ocean view room and as we walked in all we could see was construction. The grounds were not kept well and the pool was so cloudy it looked like milk was in the water. The room itself was old and in need of renovation. The AC was so loud it sounded like a helicopter! I called the front desk to see if they had any other rooms we could move to and or upgrade and was told there was nothing and the whole resort was under construction. Don’t do the Del!!! RUDE STAFF EVERYWHERE- terrible service, over priced, horrible for kids. over crowded, long lines for bathrooms, rooms run down, paper thin walls, WAY OVER PRICED

Our room was a partial ocean view, and about a third was of the beach and ocean. The other two thirds was parking lot and maintenance/storage area. The storage was for all the accessories the hotel used on the beach for whatever event that day. Crews worked well into the night putting away equipment. There was also a laundry room nearby that started operations about 7AM. Being as the room was over $600 per night, one might expect a few amenities to be included. Problem after problem - Not worth the money Upon check in, I was told the room I booked in Jan '19, 2 queen bed Victorian ocean view, was not available and that I would be moved to the Ocean Towers for one night and then a suite in the Victorian building for the rest of my stay, both of which only had a King bed and pull out couch.
